Broadcaster says James Harden is cheating the game

    It’s basically the same “system” Lebron ran most of his career.

    Put the ball in Lebron’s hands, space the floor with shooters, and let him score or assist as many times as he can.

    Where was all this “cheating” the system talk with Lebron?

    Which reminds me of this from the same game...

    "Lebron could score 40+ a game if he had the ball in his hand the entire game and was allowed to score".

    Well he did have the ball in his hand all the time, had the green light, was in the Leasetern conference, and still never averaged close to 36ppg for the season.

    Why?

    Because Lebron does not have the shooting range of James Harden.

    You bet Lebron would if he could.

    I mean seriously, how do these guys have the jobs that they have.....

    I was forced to stream the clippers broadcast. He was whining about the ball not moving and all that LITERALLY while the ball was flying around the court leading to wide open shots. Ralph lawler, his co host was even annoyed with him. Then I realized that’s how you can tell harden is a generation defining player. You can tell change is abound when people will disregard what is right in front of them because they don’t want to accept that things are actually changing. I mean this guy said “I was thinking if there were any other players who could do what harden does....I bet Lebron could do it.” That’s where harden has risen, the ONLY player even remotely comparable to him is Lebron freaking James!

    Random factoid: Don MacLean, the broadcaster who said that, is technically a former Rocket. He was acquired by the Rockets in 1999 as part of the Steve Francis trade. I think I have an old picture of him somewhere at training camp that year in Austin, but I don't believe he made the squad.

    Cheating...the game? Hmm, maybe this guy is on to something.

    I mean, if you watch Harden's movements as he's about to school someone, it looks an awful lot like up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, and then before long, BOOM, 30 lives points.

    There are few NBA players more similar to Harden's style than Lou Williams, and believe me Williams would be trying to score 30+ ppg with 8+ assists per game if anyone could do it lol

    It's fun man. When you've conquered, a lot of insecure, jealous people pop up and you just gotta cherish it. Whether he wins it or not, I'm going to look back at this season and remember it as that season where Harden clowned coaches, defenders and refs so hard that a bunch of them couldn't help but get super salty.

    I was watching the broadcast unfortunately.

    Maybe one of the worst opposing broadcasts I’ve heard all year.

    I think their play by play guy is OK, he threw MDA's argument about why Harden should hold the ball all the time at the other guy's face and made him speechless. That's kind of funny.

    Fact: If all these guys hating on Harden and his game could do what is able to do, they would be doing it.

    Not one person would be like, "No thanks. I would like to play the game the right way. Let me average 10 ppg per game the way I am and let me have my spot on the bench. I just dont feel comfortable averaging 36ppg and 8 assist a game for the season. It feels like cheating. Also, I would never whine to the ref about a free throw. Ever. Creating contact and asking for free throws is cheating."

    Its not as much about them hating the fact that he is doing it as much as them hating it that they CANT do it.
