By far my favorite part of the game was listening to the clippers announcer complaining about how he hates watching James harden and harden is basically cheating and how he hates rocketing the rockets. They were down by 35 and he was probably remembering the game 6 comeback while watching his former favorite player Chris Paul play wingman for harden and rockets. Lol. Salty tears taste so good!

It is really a novel, cutting edge idea the Rockets are employing.....take your best player, current MVP, who is undefendable at times and isolate him against players that can't stop him from 3, 2 or going to the rim. It's called taking it advantage of what is your best chance of winning but don't tell anyone. This Don guy ought to be working at Staples not announcing games ...what a joke !

Unexpected beat down of the Clips. I was actually worried about this game, 2nd night of a b2b on the road against a hot team. Not much to say about the game other than, when we are hitting threes, we look like a juggernaut.

One thing I will say though is, keep an eye on Gallo in the offseason. If LAC are looking to dump salary to pursue free agents, we might be able to snatch him up and he would be a monster for us. He has all the tools you would want from a 3 in our system. Hard to make the salaries work without giving up Gordon, but Morey has like 10m in random trade exceptions where he might be able to cobble together something interesting.

lol. I remember that UCLA team that had Don MacLean, and I wanted the Rockets to either draft him or Tracy Murray.... well, actually, I wanted the Rockets to draft Harold Miner most, but we drafted some dude named "Bob", instead. :D

MacLean and his roid-popping self is the last one who should be complaining about "cheating" :

Charles Barkley has the most famous two-liner about steroids and the NBA. When journeyman Don MacLean tested positive in 2000, Barkley stuck up for the former UCLA star.
    He tried to, anyway.
"Don MacLean?" Barkley said on TNT, "I've seen Don MacLean naked, and he doesn't use steroids."

I wonder if Green has been pushed out of the rotation. Seems like House, Nene (Faried), Rivers, Shumpert are the guys in the rotation.

That's pretty damning for Don considering how many times Charles has been wrong over his lifetime.

Gerald Green is in the dog house.
He didn't even attempt a shoot.

wow 135 after 130 on a b2b with most guys hitting threes at a high clip. Is that the most points in a b2b situation we’ve scored in this era?

Exactly why I wanted him in there instead of Nen.

I think Mike saw that on the first couple of plays and brought Faried in.

I wouldn’t put too much weight on it, coaches know exactly what Green brings. Testing the roster to see who the odd man is out, similar to Joe Johnson. I hope Green is effective when his number is call. We need that lights out, no though whatsoever shooting. His energy is contagious too.
