I’m starting to think twice about wanting the clippers. Watching them in recent games does have me concerned about there bench.
Harrell, Green, Chandler gives them a ton of size and rebounding against our second unit.

Faried would have to play like a mad man. Clint may even have to play closer to 40 min per game if we get matched up with them.

I have to give them credit. They have actually gotten much better since the trade deadline. All of there moves worked.

I misread your post. You had a grammatical error that made me think you were saying “no Zubac didn’t play well and they got lit up by all 3” but you were saying “no Clint and no Paul.” That’s why I thought you were talking about a different game. My bad.

There are two Rockets Faried. The one that played his first ten games here and the one since that’s been in and out of line ups. If we get the former I’d feel a lot better.

Alright. The only dude out of those new additions who has real playoff experience should be Rivers but I dun think he got to the WCF yet.

He could be the one that would take some of the big shots in certain games.

Let's be honest, the Clippers have a much better bench, they just dun have the superstar Starters.

Their gameplan is to play their '2nd unit' that looks like the 1st one excessively.

I'm worried Faried isn't in shape, and quickly got too sore to compete. Maybe out of over-exuberance to have fun again playing Manimal-style with Harden, and partly out of wanting to show the league he's starter material for summer free agency.

Like bursting out on a 5K run at an unsustainable pace ... in this case, because Faried has been sitting on his ass for over a year.

Good news: with all the General Soreness and aches and pains rest he's getting, he should be back.

One key downside to facing the Clippers in the playoffs is they will be playing loose. No expectations or pressure. That's dangerous.

Are we close enough to knowing the chances who the Rockets will be playing in the playoff? Seems most likely it will be the Clippers, followed by Jazz. Not likely, but could also be Spurs or Thunders.

Don't want to play a healthy Clippers team.
Plus they will be perceived as a scrappy underdog team. Everyone will be rooting for them.

Doesn’t beating the Clippers make OKC our most likely first round opponent based on remaining schedules?

I just looked at the remaining schedules. I honestly think it’s all going to come down to the Houston vs OKC game.

I’m very confident top 3 will be GS, Denver and Houston in that order. 4,5 will be Portland Utah (Utah could be 4th but would still get Portland).
I see Clippers going 1-3 assuming they lose tonight. I think Spurs would win out (3-0). Which leaves OKC. They’ll either win out and end up 6th (and face us in the first round) or lose to us and end up 8th.

Edit: thats assuming a three way tie would mean 6. Clippers 7. Spurs 8. OKC.

    Didn’t actually determine that

not trash but not a serious threat to us. playoffs are about stars, so okc and SA are much more dangerous.

I was worried about the Clippers, but after this performance, I feel a bit better. Rockets match up better with the Clippers than I thought they would. Faried and Nene matched Faried's energy. Rockets have multiple defenders that can guard Lou Williams. Clint can guard Gallo if he has to. Bev didn't play though. I wonder how big a difference he is going to make.

    How you feeling @Zoplicone?

    Reeko told no lies

Y’all out here acting scared about a bunch of role players. The offense of Lou Will and Gallo isn’t close to enough in the playoffs. Bev isn’t a Harden stopper. They can’t guard Harden.

Clips, Blazers, Spurs, Jazz, Thunder, Nuggets, GS in that order.

Not really concerned about Clips, Blazers, Spurs.
Confident we can beat Jazz and Nuggets.
    Concerned about Thunder and GS.

Come on, we should not fear ANYONE in the first or 2nd round.
