Is Joe Biden "Toast"? The author of this article thinks so and he has some compelling arguments to back that statement up.

    Joe Biden is Toast

This could be the shortest presidential campaign in history. Just a few weeks ago, I wrote these words in a piece here at the Resurgent:

“Biden’s problem is not just that he sticks his foot in his mouth regularly; it’s that he is a square peg trying to fit in a left-wing, intersectionality-created round hole. People are being chased from the public square, brow-beaten into silence, and publicly scourged by the social justice activist coup that now controls the [Democrat Party]… Simply put, that is an insurmountable obstacle for a guy like Biden.”

And here we are. In recent days, a social justice activist and former Nevada Assemblywoman Lucy Flores wrote an article for New York Magazine that detailed how Joe Biden invaded her personal space and awkwardly gave her an unwanted kiss. These days, that’s more than sexual harassment, that’s sexual assault. Now you tell me how a party that “believes all women” is going to nominate Joe? It. Won’t. Happen.

    {More at the link}

So while I am not ready to proclaim that Joe Biden is officially "Toast" yet, he is currently in the toaster getting toasted, and he has not even formally entered the race yet. He will have 18 months of this to look forward to, if he does in fact decide to run.

The author makes a very good point that this party is not the party of Joe Biden anymore. Do they really want a Joe Biden as their nominee? Does Joe Biden really want to try to be the figurehead for what this group of people has become? It seems to me that the answer to both questions may well be "No".

Say what you like, but that looks like a plain vanilla fan picture to me. The only interesting thing in this picture is that the woman is young, sexy and has big boobs. If she is supposed to be discriminated against because of that, I am going to need for you to explain why that is.

Does this look like a plain vanilla fan picture to you?

Um, maybe you don't recognize the "fan" in that picture? Or just being obtuse?

I didn't until I saw the name watermarked across the picture. I am familiar with the name. She is a plain vanilla w**** and a prop for the habitually lying Democrat left smear machine.

You are going to have to substantiate any allegations of wrongdoing between Trump and Stormy Daniels well beyond the uncorobborated smear campaigns that you people live and breathe by. I never did follow the Stormy Daniels stuff very closely, because as far as I could see, there was never anything more to back it up than this kind of vile, despicable, dishonest, 'Fake news,' crap.

And if the picture of Trump is the most solid "incriminating" evidence that you can come up with on this story (the nondiclosure agreement also proves nothing), then you have got jack squat. Anyway, all of that was vetted quite thoroughly a number of years ago.

Now it is Joe Biden's turn and so far it does not look like that is going very well for him at all. Do you disagree?

Oh my gosh. First to claim you didn't recognize Stormy Daniels, then to claim you don't believe they had an affair? Wow, as they say, Denial is not a River in Egypt.

    OK, what about this one?

You need to wean yourself from the tabloid news. Again, those look like fan pictures. If there was a woman who wanted to take a fan picture with you, how different do you think it would look from these pictures?

The issue is that Biden has backed this movement and has stated that witnesses should be believed without
any mention of the rights of the accused.

Now that he is the victim he is trapped. Its the hypocrisy that makes people upset.

Trump thinks the movement is garbage so his name shouldn't be involved.

Dude are you really trying to claim they did not have an affair?

That's even a stretch for you.

there is no issue with what Biden said he just issued a statement saying this actual person should be believed.

there is no hypocrisy here he realized what he did.

Nope. I have no idea about any of that.

But I certainly will not be reaching any conclusion based on anything that requires even the most microscopically small particle of trust towards any Democrat leftist, and that especially goes for anything coming from the Democrat leftists in the mass media. To say that these people have zero credibility and zero integrity does not even fully cover it.

The default assumption towards anything coming from these people that 1) is in any way controversial and 2) that is directed towards their political adversaries 3) obviously has to be that it is a lie.

Anyone who starts from this perspective, as we have witnessed pretty consistently over the last 12 years or so, will not be far wrong.

And what does the Leftist have to do with Windmill noise causing cancer?

    You are spiralling dude.

Reparations. Are you kidding me? The Democrats are already going completely off of the rails and we are not even to the first debate yet.

Beto backs off opposition to reparations at Sharpton event, pledges he’d sign bill to study it

Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke appeared Wednesday to back off his initial opposition to slavery reparations, saying he would support a bill in Congress to study and consider the payments. The former three-term congressman from Texas made his comments during an appearance in New York before the National Action Network, a civil rights organization founded by Al Sharpton.

Asked by Sharpton if he would back a measure introduced by Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, a fellow Texan, O’Rourke answered, “absolutely I would sign that into law.” The comments by O’Rourke represent an apparent shift on the issue for the White House contender.

Hillary Clinton is positioning herself to parachute in and save the day for the Democrats, if Joe Biden falls out.

Bill and Hillary Clinton to embark on star-studded speaking tour

Bill and Hillary Clinton will be joined by a slew of big names on their forthcoming speaking tour — including Ben Stiller, Jordan Klepper, and “Scandal’s” Tony Goldwyn.

The Clintons announced last October that they were hitting the road this year on a 13-city tour. The tour’s organizers said the couple would “provide a unique perspective on the past, and remarkable insight into where we go from here.” They’ll also share “stories and inspiring anecdotes that shaped their historic careers in public service,” a statement said.

Just when you thought she was out, she is being pulled back in....

I think he is, but not because of this hair sniffing thing. That will blow over. And he's got something going for him as a known quantity as a old-style moderate democrat with some midwestern credibility. I think his 2 big problems are: (1) He's too old, and (2) apart from being an experienced and well-known candidate, he's not really a good candidate. He's not going to excite anyone. I expect as the primary season heats up, his performance in polls will steadily slide. There are a lot more coastal democrats than midwestern democrats, so even if the midwestern democrats are important for delivering the electoral college, it'll be the values of California and New York that'll win the primary.

Kamala Harris joins all of the other Democrat women running for President in ganging up on Joe Biden

    Harris: 'I believe' Biden accusers

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) said Tuesday that she believes women who say they felt uncomfortable after receiving unwanted touching from former Vice President Joe Biden. "I believe them and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it," Harris said at a presidential campaign event in Nevada.

The California senator added that Biden will need to decide for himself whether to run for president. "He's going to have to make that decision for himself. I wouldn’t tell him what to do," Harris said.

On top of all of that, he has never given off the vibe that he really wants to do this. The establishment wing wants him to run, as all of the other candidates appear to be moving pretty aggressively to the left.

Well, if he does not run, or gets out early, there is always Hillary Clinton.
