Read the article since I don't watch posted videos. Media companies have access to insider information from the relationships they have with people in the political parties and elsewhere. They know if they piss the insider off, they might not get access to information in the future and they'll lose scoops. So, if the insider asks you to do them a favor that is pretty minor and doesn't cost you much, doesn't it make sense for a media person to do it? There is a tension between this kind of accommodation to have access in the future and printing news in the present, but these are trades journalists make all the time. Maybe I'm too much a creature of the system, but it doesn't strike me as corrupt or even all that newsworthy if news people ask that a minor story be delayed a little bit.

Oh, man. I'm away for a few days and miss everything. When/why did this happen?

I didn't think Sweet Lou was all that bad, except that he was horrifically wrong on the merits of every issue; and seemed to be obsessed with racial issues.

No, he's not banned. He was banned long ago when he was literally trolling as NewYorker.

This is hilarious, and reveals a lot about your worldview.

    1) That NBC was doing *anything* for the Democrats is a huge story; it reveals and confirms the bias we long suspected that they had.

    2) Timcast is hardly a right wing nut job podcast. Tim Pool says over and over that he is a centrist Democrat. Whatever the merits of his own self-analysis, he's hardly a right wing nutjob.

And your assumption is that Fox News and your favorite, Breitbart, doesn't coordinate anything with the RNC?

They likely have contacts all over washington. No one said they don't do shady things. No one supports that. You appear to make an assumption in your post to him.

    It is a story.
    It is not huge.
The single individual NBC employee did not act ethically.
This is a single incidence of DNC aka liberal bias.
One would not have to look very hard to find conservative bias at NBC. If you can not see it, that may very well reveal and confirm the bias we long suspected that you had.

Everyone has a bias, so why is this news to anyone? That someone that works for NBC might have a bias shouldn't really be news.

Also, as for your 2nd point, I'm also a moderate conservative. Since I said it, it must be true.

I was referring to his past account that he made. His posts were the exact opposite of now. How anyone can take him seriously is beyond me.

I didn't think this was suspected, I thought this was a common knowledge understanding people had about how journalists operate. They maintain relationships to have sources of information. You can't have a relationship if it's a one-way street.

*Sigh* It's not about maintaining a relationship. It's about NBC acting on behalf of the Democratic party.

When there's evidence of it, I'll be happy to review it.

Edited to add: The most interesting thing about your post -- and I wonder if you realize it -- is that you are conceding that the MSM news is in the Democratic party camp.

Overstate much? It is not like the CEO or the board of directors decided to help the DNC.

And it was for delaying a story for one ****ing hour.

    But you be you.

This wasn't some low-level intern at NBC news.

And they shouldn't be doing anything for either (or any) political party. But those days are clearly past.

I guess you could twist my post a few different ways to make it seem like that. I do like a good pretzel.

Sean Hannity and other Fox News scmucks appearing at trump events isn’t proof enough for you that they consistently are in bed with and coordinate with the RNC? Not appearing as in they’re there to report. Appearing on stage as guest speakers.

Have any NBC, CBS, CNN, or ABC news people appeared as guests at rallies for Democratic candidates? Maybe I missed one. I’m not being facetious.
