Dems should nominate a monkey. The monkey will beat Trump easily in all the debates and win. And a monkey will enact far better foreign policy as well.

I have to agree that a monkey is a better choice than anything else the Dems have to offer and far less dangerous.

It's far too early in the process to declare the best candidate, let alone the best ticket.

Kamala Harris is toxic and fake. She has no chance in hell of winning in a general nation election. Her nomination would push many people to hold their nose and vote for Trump.

LOL, which many people are these?

The same people who are in teh "Walk Away Movement" or the same people who are forming the grassroots of Schultz 2020.

This is like "Harden plays no D, he has to do it in the playoffs - therefore GIANNIS FOR MVP" level of logical sophistication. Go away with this.

    Who is your candidate?

I'm trying to get an idea of your politics you seem to be a moderate Republican who does not like Trump.

I don't think Kamala is good candidate but I don't think she is toxic or especially fake.

This. Some of these people won't be around come November or December. The first primary is 10 months away. Sooooooooo much can and will happen in the time between now and then. I still think there will be a primary challenge in the GOP. Either Kasich or someone else is bound to get in.

Probably some of the same people that did not bother to vote in the Presidential 2016 election or ended up voting for Donald Trump.

If I remember correctly you were convinced that Clinton would win easily in 2016.

The democrats need to be careful who their candidate is.

I am a more of a Democrat than a Republican. I have voted for a Democrat is every Presidential election except one.

I have voted Democrat at least 85% of the time at the state level.

I have voted Republican at the local level for people that I know, for example Judges.

I have been described as a pragmatic democrat.

As I get older, I get sick of having people running our government that are self serving and pandering and really do not have the best interest of the majority of American's at heart. I don't care if that is Donald Trump or potentially Harris.

I am against building a wall (it is a political stunt with racist overtones), I am against abolishing the Electoral College (again it is an opportune time for one political party), I am in favor or raising the minimum wage, I am against the free reign that lobbyists have in Washington. I believe in Global Warming and it being a man made event, I am in favor of subsidizing alternative energy sources........ I believe that President Obama is the most Presidential leader we have had in many decades. I believe Obama was overall a very good domestic President and a very poor one when it came to foreign policy.

Donald Trump is a terrible President.

Kamala Harris is a self serving blowhard that is purposely divisive. She says one thing and does another. She has a history of not upholding civil liberties, her bluster about banks is a joke, she let Steve Mnunchin off the hook too easily as well.

I don't know who should be the nominee, it is too early. However, I know who shouldn't represent the democratic party and that includes Harris.

Ok fair enough I don't understand your beef with Harris IMO opinion it's a bit strong.

But we actually agree on a lot.

If I remember correctly literally everyone including Trump and Steve Bannon also believed this. Maybe Michael Moore was right but he's generally usually wrong many more other times.

Electability in general is kind of bullshit basically invented in the political press to express their inner tuttutting. I mean Donald Trump was not considered electable even by himself so there's exhibit A

Anyway your mythical silent majority of liberal Anti Harris pro Trump voters sounds ridiculous on its face and doesn't really exist as far as I can tell.

I guess if they magically show up then you'll have magic prediction power which we can all give you a high 5...I trust that will suffice.

Kamala Harris is a straight up liar, smoking weed listening to Pac and Snoop in the late 80s...that'll never get old.

I never said a majority of liberals would vote for Trump if Harris won the nomination.
