    Hmmm...

    Cash
    Waylon
    Willie
    Kris

    vs

    Dylan
    Petty
    Roy O
    Harrison
    Lynn

You're probably right overall, but I'd take the top 3 of the Highwaymen against whatever top 3 you pick of the Wilburys. I think. Maybe.

    the trailer looks good

and I'll take Ringo Star & his All-Starr Band over both Highwaymen and Wilburys

Thought this looked like a series. Kinda disappointed it's only a movie.

    That cast is superb.

watched it yesterday. well worth it, plods along just a little bit in the middle with self-reflective confessional dialogue-type stuff, but overall a solid movie.

enjoyed that they basically ignored Bonnie & Clyde's story, refused to immortalize them

Best part of the movie so far is when they’re pulling into Dallas and Woody Harrelson says “I thought my circumstances were bad” ;)

excellent article in the Washington Post this morning about how the film glosses over the history of police brutality and racism of the Texas Rangers during Frank Hamer's career. I do think the film partly addresses the subject with Harrelson's long (partial spoiler alert) description of the "hands up" massacre of 50+ people, but the WaPo article does an excellent job of filling in the context.

entertaining move. Harrelson's facial expressions make a boring story alive.

Personally,I liked it, but it is a bit of a slow burn. I kind of knew how it would end though.
