It would be a nice achievement but he needs to bring a couple rings to Houston too.

During the Tmac era, the newb fans never understood what us pure Hakeem Era fans knew about being great and a MVP.
The newbs kept making excuses for all of Tmac's failures and said he should have been a MVP and champion.
He never got out of the first round.

Harden has given us a glimpse of an Olajuwon level player that the Tmac fans never saw.
    We're contenders not pretenders .

    Thanks Harden.

I am curious if James Harden can pass Michael Jordan. Fitness and Health will be huge going forward. Age 37 it can be possible. I hope the Rockets have a younger Star when James Harden is around the age of 35 onward.

Durability (longevity), efficiency and bball smarts.

Getting out of the 1st round frequently also helped.

Put some respect on T-Macs name. Dude had to carry scrubs and a fragile Yao year after year.

First of all, while it's quite true that McGrady suffered a lot from injuries, it's also true that Harden is insanely durable. He's built like a tank, as strong as one, as determined and insistent as one, and he ought to be lauded for whatever he does to keep going out there without sustaining a major injury so he can keep his team going.

Second of all, Harden is also already 9th on the all-time three-pointers list with 1993. He's less than 1000 behind all-time leader Ray Allen (2973). Harden has made 346 threes this year alone.

    This is crazy.

T-Mac, if you are reading this- I just wanted to let you know that you are a bum ass loser. And if there were ever a 22 game winning streak reunion and it was just you and Steve Novak that showed up, I would ask for Steve Novaks autograph.

    Disappointed, because:
    1. Not a @tinman thread
    2. Person who made this thread crapped all over the Rockets just last season, even picked them to lose in all 3 playoff rounds.

It wasn't just "the Toronto Game" that turned many off from McGrady; it was getting micro-fracture knee surgery to destroy his own trade value, and then, picking the Lakers (on an NBATV interview) to win the 2008-09 Title (which meant he went against the Rockets, while still under contract with them). And then all the saltiness towards Harden for no freaking reason whatsoever.

A lot of TMacs injuries occurred because he didn’t take care of his body.

Imagine how good he will have been if he took care of his body the way the greats did.

Think about years from now, kids will only know Tmac as that NBA analyst on the jump that keeps talking about himself.

Of course you can compare them but if you think about it they are different players.

I am not sure J. Edward Harden is the strongest mental player out there but he was mentally better at that.

Everybody who went thru the Iso and some of the Deadball era (99-2000s), were not playing in an era when Offense bloomed though.

The Crazy Amount of 3 Era did come with Stephen Wardell Curry.

i disagree its because he didnt take care of his body. I think its more to do with flat feet, plus he has one leg longer than the other one. back and knee problems were inevitable putting your body through that type of stress. plus its not like james is in great shaoe year round yet he has been very durable.
