Yep. It’s longer than Bobby Bonilla’s Mets contract.

You guys are way off. Sampson stays in Houston as a Rocket coach so Bzdelik can retire like he wanted.

Seems like Tilman is the only guy that keeps UH afloat. Are there any other rich guys in Houston willing to pitch in for the cougars, especially the athletic dept.

UH raised a billion dollars recently. http://www.uhsystem.edu/news/articles/?/2019/february-2019/2-28-19-beyond-the-billion.php

No it doesn't. It comes from the university. You know what a Board of Regents is, right? Do you have any link supporting your fake news?

Weird how Sampson was getting paid before Fertitta was on the Board of Regents, huh? https://www.chron.com/sports/cougar...ll-coach-Kelvin-Sampson-agrees-to-7942927.php

I don't think you guys understand how a university works.
You think members of the Board of Regents pay the salaries of university employees from their own pockets. . . . That's totally wrong.

A significant part of sports comes from boosters and donations. TF by far is #1 in that regard. there's really nothing fake news about that which is the point

I have been university faculty for 20 years, so I probably know more about Boards of Regents than most people, but whatever.
    Have it your way:
"Tilman Fertitta took money away from the Rockets and gave it to the basketball coach at U of H. I'm so mad. Can I get some likes?"

that's good for you. at the end of the day, they're going to need to shell out a significant amount of money to keep Sampson. Or someone else will

That guy is a Tilman apologist to the extent it would be to the detriment to the rockets. I'm sure he still believes we shouldn't have signed house. If only people liked Harden and the rockets enough to want them to succeed. SMH

You mean Tilman Fertitta will have to shell out a lot of money, don't you?

That's what this thread is about: "Rockets money is going to Sampson." Look at the thread title.
Now you don't even care what you are posting about.
