If we are going to consider Giannis for MVP, why not Jokic?

    Nuggets have been battling for a 1-seed out West all year long. 20-11-8 for Jokic on the regular.

    What exactly is the separator between Giannis and Jokic? Team success and dominant play from both guys. Is Giannis just sexier for the media?

    (We all know who the MVP is...)

    How many times have the Nuggets been on national TV? That’s how many times the media has watched them play.

    nobody is paying attention to or cares too much about Jokic

    Look at their net ratings and point differentials. Bucks are clearly better.

    Jokic is brilliant on offense but is a poor defender at the most important defensive position.

    He'll finish no lower than 4th though.

    Jokic isn't as dominant as Giannis stats-wise.

    And Giannis plays on both sides of the ball. ;)

    Look I think Harden deserves to win the MVP. However Giannis also deserves it in any other year. But making threads like this is ridiculous. And you are not making the point you think you are making. Let's not reduce what Giannis is doing just to make a case for Harden. Giannis has also been amazing, but we should focus on what Harden has done. And let that speak for itself.

    I like Jokic, but he is clearly not on the level of Harden and Giannis.
    The bucks have a better record
    Giannis has better stats
    GIannis is a much better defensive player.
    So what argument do you have for Jokic. Making a case for Jokic is just as bad as the people who wanted to include George in he conversation. Yes both are good player, but not even close to Giannis and Harden.

    True but when your differential is damn near double I think it’s safe to say despite the conference difference you are better.

    I would disagree that the bucks are clearly better than the nuggets. Both teams killed us at their home. The west is way better than the east. I could the bucks having toronto-like playoff success.

    Nuggests .681
    Bucks .679
    Warriors .674
    Rockets .587

    The Bucks aren't just beating up inferior teams in the East. They are pretty good against the West too.
