    That's my point entirely.

It's not entirely my issue that he post opinion pieces, it's the sites that he post them from that is the dead giveaway.

Anyway I am done with him, let him keep up the charade if he thinks it fooling anybody we all can laugh.

So what you are really saying is that mainstream media is adopting tactics used by Fox?

So Glenn is getting some of that good Fox money.

Don't entirely disagree with what he is saying it it sounds like sour grapes, there are plenty of people who disagreed with the collision narrative that still appear on that network.

And the fact that he is calling out CNN and MSNBC as perpetrating lies while going on Fox is the height of hypocrisy.

I understand taking a victory lap. But, big picture, Trump and his Admin have since the very beginning been trying to conceal from the general public something about their relationship with Russia. They lied extensively about it, changed the story when those lies were proven, and lied some more. They still have not provided the American public with an adequate explanation of what they were trying to accomplish with their policy on Russia. Fast forward to this week and they're doing the same thing they've been doing since early 2017. They are not content to say No Collusion!, the things they say are trying to put everything that came out in the last two years back into the toothpaste tube -- they are trying to undermine the credibility of all the things we did learn. It was all a lie, journalists owe Trump an apology, witch hunt. That's a bridge too far. Some of the stuff we've learned is still true. Numerous meetings before the election with Russians with no explanation of the object. Changing the RNC platform on Ukraine. Attempting to remove sanctions on Russia soon after winning the presidency until blocked by a rare bipartisan veto-proof bill. Apparent inaction on punishing Russia for its hacking or securing America from future hacks. Capitulation to the Russians in Syria. Abandonment of the nuclear arms treaties. It can all (or mostly) be perfectly legitimate statecraft stuff. But, one, still no explanation of what the Administration's goals are vis-a-vis Russia, and two, continued willful deception of the American public. So take the victory lap on beating the collusion rap, but spare me the witch hunt stuff -- there's something suspicious going on.

It was an investigation into Russian meddling of an american election.

Trump and the loser whiners should have stopped whining that it was a witch hunt and how there was no collusion, and just let the investigation run its course.

All he does it attack dems and the media - he goes after people doing their job for doing their job. He calls the media the enemy of the people for god's sake.

And if you suggest that he goes after dems or the media with legislature or other means, what he is doing is most likely unconstitutional and a severe abuse of power. I am shocked that a conservative would even entertain such an idea.

Did Clinton go after Republicans for what they did to him? Trump has committed far far worse crimes and is getting away with it. He should show some humility.

Attacking the pressing is dangerous and would cause our founding fathers to be sickened. Passing an executive order against the press or dems would be treasonous and should result in immediate impeachment.

Trump: But but but the media! And Democrats! Lock them all up!!!

    Sane person: For what?

Trump: For accusing me of collusion after all my campaign met with shady Russian and I am Putin's pet!

    SP: That's not a crime.

Trump: I am President! They are horrible people! They said terrible things about me and my family! They must be punished!

Trumpsters: We agree! Arrest the Media and Dems!

Somehow a few posters have gotten side-tracked in this thread from the OP. Here's something to get it back on track: "The Steele Dossier, Hillary Clinton’s Malignant Gift to America." An excerpt:

Let’s try a hypothetical. Imagine if you’re a reporter and you know that local police are investigating a wild claim against a prominent local figure. You’ve started to look into the claim yourself, but so far everything you’ve learned contradicts the allegations. Do you dump it into the public domain anyway, heedless of the impact on the public or the person?

Well, if you’re BuzzFeed, that’s exactly what you do. While it may well be newsworthy that the FBI is looking into claims that Trump is “compromised,” there’s a vast difference between that factual report and just tossing a raw opposition-research file into the public square and telling people to “make up their own minds" . . . .

For all of their other accomplishments, the Clintons are leaving American public life with a legacy of lies and lawlessness. Bill Clinton’s shameless behavior, perjury, and obstruction of justice led to his impeachment. Hillary’s serial deceptions and her grotesque mishandling of classified information led to her defeat. The dossier, however, in its sheer negative impact on American public life, may be her most infamous “achievement.” Her campaign — and ultimately Hillary herself — bears responsibility for the chaos it sowed.

But key members of the media and the government share in that responsibility. The dossier redefined the debate. It was a cancer, and it sickened American culture and politics. Our nation is weaker because that document entered the bloodstream of the body politic.
