Asking Russia to find Hillary's email wasn't a joke. That's either a lie or someone who didn't watch the event. He mentioned it several different times. You don't keep repeating the punchline to a joke. Trump and his camp said that he said it in some kind of effort to help the FBI. They then also said it was a joke. But as was pointed out, it wasn't delivered the way anyone would deliver a joke repeating the punch line multiple times.

Whatever argument a person uses to say it wasn't collusion a joke isn't a reasonable excuse given how the conference went down.

I have no hopes or echo chamber. My view has been to hold judgement until we see the Mueller report. I am still waiting.

    Calm down, sparky.

I'm suggesting that if this report is actually beneficial and exculpatory to the President and his organization, then there should be no effort to withhold it from the public.

Of course, most people without MAGA brainworms highly suspect that the report is not very complimentary to Trump or his org, and it probably paints them as some combination of useful idiots and corrupt ratf**kers (moreso than what we already know from the indictments that have come out).

Your uber defensiveness here is very much in keeping with this.

I think there is plenty to still cover.

    http://time.com/5557644/donald-trump-other-investigations-mueller/

Plus the "Barr Summary" report could potentially become the scandal on top of the original scandal. The cover up is always worse than the crime when it comes to American scandals & conspiracy theory. Every day that Barr & the GOP try to bury the Mueller report, the more and more people like Maddow, etc. will pay more attention to the potential cover up.

So if you are laughing sitting there thinking Maddow & co. will tank in viewership now & have nothing to cover I think you are kidding yourself.

I'll admit though the nation does need a bit of a break from the Russia scandal, but unfortunately, its not going anywhere. If anything it could get even worse.

Do yourself a huge favor. Press the power button, put down the remote, and back away from the television. At the very least turn it to some other station that is devoid of politics. You REALLY need a break.

Note: While I say this partly to be funny, you do seriously need to take a break from this for a while.

Daily Beast reports her viewership dropped by 500,000 and she went from the first/second ranked MSNBC show to 6th:

And it’s also possible that the Mueller disappointment drove loyal viewers away in much the same way that people avoid looking at their 401(k)s when the stock market is down. Maddow, who has consistently vied for the first or second top-rated cable news program, was sixth on Monday evening, down almost 500,000 total viewers from the previous Monday, as was MSNBC’s second top-rated program in primetime, The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell.

Only works if the previous scene is Anderson Cooper being offered a gummy bear.

Will it not be released with personal info redacted? Cool your heels cowpoke. Sorry that you are so angry but I really have no high emotion in this. I am amused by all the salt.

To those on the left who are mad the Mueller report has not been released yet, I can promise you many of us on the right will be just as mad as you if it is not eventually released. I think some amount of patience is in order. It is highly likely some of it will have to be redacted prior to release. If this drags out more than a month most of the country will be angry.

You exploded at a harmless bipartisan joke/meme (it's not hard to see the absurdity of the situation).

I suggest you take your own advice and stop projecting.

One of the absurd things about this entire episode is people trying to make issue of Trump's mancrush on Putin. Im like if he was really a Russian spy dont you think he would try to hide his fondness of Putin.

His fondness for Putin as disdainful as it is, is about the control Putin holds in Russia. Its not about a secret plot
