Great, so we will get maybe 5-8 games out of his this season? That should be enough to keep us from being awful, but not enough to let us really be a threat.
11 best WR duos according to Gil Brandt 1) Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns 2) Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, Minnesota Vikings 3) Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins, Kansas City Chiefs 4) Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods, Los Angeles Rams 5) Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams, Oakland Raiders 6) Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley, Atlanta Falcons 7) DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller, Houston Texans Hopkins finished with the most prolific season of his prodigious career to date, recording personal bests in catches (115) and yards (1,572). Over the past five seasons, only Antonio Brown and Julio Jones have been targeted more than Hopkins (807) -- but he probably wouldn't mind sharing the wealth with Fuller in 2019, who coach Bill O'Brien said this week is "on a good track" as he recovers from a torn ACL suffered last season. Without Fuller, Houston generated 60 fewer passing yards per game. The former first-round pick has missed 17 games over his three NFL seasons, but assuming he can return to health, the speedy deep threat will complement Hopkins -- who catches everything and has speed of his own -- nicely. 8) A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals 9) Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson, Philadelphia Eagles 10) Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, Los Angeles Chargers 11) Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks
So we won’t sign free agents but we will trade premier players when they get expensive? Kinda tough to draft tier one pass rushers when you have a turnstile Offensive line and holes at corner. Not feeling good about next season but hoping the team proves me wrong.
I'm all aboard the trade Clowney train. We aren't winning next year. He's on borrowed time with that microfracture surgery. I don't like the Chiefs as trade partners because their picks aren't high enough. Give me a mid 1st round pick and a 2nd rounder.
San Francisco, Detroit, Buffalo. Carolina even but I not picking up the phone for Kansas City without a first round pick on the table
To be fair, when you have terrible coaching, a terrible OL, and a terrible defensive backfield, it becomes easier to draft tier one players because you'll be picking quite early in the draft.
