I always say they need to push the ball more, but with Harden bringing the ball up and the drubble drubble drubble! It not going to happen. I think Cp3 needs to handle the ball more and let him do what he does best.

Yes, they shot horribly tonight but the Bucks aren't afraid to continuisly do this if Harden drained a few mid rangers when they allowed him all that empty space in the middle of the lane.

They don't do it to CP3 because he'll actually take the mid range jumper.

Outside of House early, the main role players tonight were very disappointing. Green and Faried possibly help tonight off the bench but Paul has to play better too. They dared all the others outside of Harden to beat them which worked.

Rockets as a whole played like trash. Is CP okay? He doesn't look 100%. I blame this loss on MDA for getting thoroughly outcoached. We had absolutely no adjustments on offense in the 2nd half. Anytime a team GIVES you a open land somebody is open. The Rockets were late on passes, fumbling passes & just out of place offensively.

They don't play fast. DAntoni gave up on trying to force them to.

    I hate it.

    Two things about this game...
One, we lost it on not hitting our threes.
Two, we played at a disadvantage because the referees officiated it to match the Bucks tempo game. If the refs had called fouls on both teams instead of the "let them play", the score would have been closer. Rockets need to adjust their pace so they can play in these tempo type of games.

Harden is definitely the MVP. Not even close but you already know the talking heads now have the excuse they were looking for.

It’s the same story. If the 3s aren’t falling MDA has nothing else. We saw it in the playoffs. And he’s suppose to be an offensive genius.

This was a night we really could have used GG and Faried. Green’s instant offense was missed. Gordon has a bum ankle. We will be ok. Just a bad night.

    Tucker is our worst shooter.

    Shumbert is 2nd worst.

This game showed Giannis has a better team around him. Harden's play has kept the Rox relevant and still put them in the class of the main competition to the Warriors.

Bad LOSS for Houston considering national perspective, but season can still prevail overall.

main point was our defense sucks... lol
Our rim protection was horrid - again....
and if your guards are 2 of your best 3 post defenders - that typically aint a good thing...

Well its because we are a 3 pt shooting team, we have the green light to launch it any time. Which means we're not as selective about our shot selection, which usually translates to lower %, unless your name is James Harden, which is why he should be MVP, but that's besides the case. As long as we hit over 35% on 3's that yields 1.05 points per possession, which is league avg. for ppp, it's prob even lower since that's not taking 4pt plays into account. So if we had multiple players shooting over 40% on our team, we'd be blowing teams out by 20 every game!

MDA does lack the ability to change game plans, but do you guys actually think this roster of players would know how to follow a plan?
This is how Harden plays. MDA knows this so he goes with it, as he should. We’ve won a lot of games the past 2 years with these two.
