Usually I'm anti - conspiracy But the NBA is making me question that lol . It seems giannis was preordained this pre-season as the future of the NBA . (At least since AD couldn't deliver ) He's had a great season to back up that prediction , but I really do think that the narrative has grown to make him seem greater than he is . What does this guy bring in terms of skills ? Everyone loved curry jacking up 3's and celebrating , but now giannis has the right way to play the game ( yeah being a physical freak and dunking everything ) Harden can't drive because then it's flopping , and he can't shoot 3'a because it's boring and inefficient . Anyone else looking forward to the Bullard vs Novak "MVP debate" as part of the TNT pregame? I just know bull is strapped with stats and analytics and I imagine he hammers the defense point and doubling down with MDA and force it as a talking point.
My perceived story line: - We have a finals preview tonight - Giannis won the regular season MVP (despite losing tonight's game) - Harden goes bananas in the playoff - The beard gets unanimous Finals MVP I found peace in this scenario.
