    Unbelieveable...I know it's probably close, but it's unbelievable how much these fools are trying to avoid how weak the Eastern conference is compared to the West. Look at the record! Look at the record! Always seems to be the main reason for the MVP vote.
    Do these guys really NOT see the competitive difference in the conferences? I would've hoped Nick would've brought that up, but he still is undecided.

    James Harden went off again on Thursday night, dropping 58 points for the Houston Rockets in their 121-118 win over the Miami Heat.

    There have been 14 games this season when a player scored 50 or more points. Eight players each did it once … Harden is responsible for six of those games. He’s responsible for five of the top seven scoring games this season. The 58 points he dropped on Thursday night is tied for his second best scoring performance of the season – he dropped 61 in January against the Knicks.

    James Harden is not, as of Friday morning, favored to be the NBA MVP. That honor belongs to Giannis Antetokounmpo.

    I fear we may be overthinking this.

    I want Harden to score 60 tonight so bad. I've never wanted a win more than tonight. Biggest game of the season for me.

    He mentioned best record/team without mentioning conference.

    Damn shame he has a vote.

    He even argues scoring is easier now. Guess what, everybody who plays NOW has the same advantage... and Harden still has the LARGEST scoring margin since the merger (1970's).

    SMH... his premise is garbage that's why his reasons are garbage.

    Nor I...just a small time sports guy that was a guest on First things first...from Chicago (Eastern bias probably), I guess he does Yahoo now. The dude sounds like a weasel...I wish Nick would've been a bit more pro Harden, but I suppose he doesn't think Harden is having quite as good a season as we do.

    If the MVP race is close, it's not going to Harden. That has been proven multiple times, and it is going to happen again. I really hope nobody is getting their hopes up on this.

    Milwaukee (Giannis) is 90 miles from Chicago.

    His opinion is "Rep Lake Michigan".
    His reasoning is wack because his premise is wack.

    Giannis couldn't get a top seed with MIddleton LAST YEAR !!! Meanwhile, Harden averages 53 wins in the West over almost a decade regardless of teammates or coaching.
