This was a defining performance. He was just spectacular, and he had to be. Absolutely unstoppable. My only question with him is how he can possibly continue to get better? Unbelievable.
Umm, not to mention Hakeem was going up against the likes of Robinson, Ewing, Alonzo, Deke...every night. It's not even close as far as that era of Basketball, times are just different.
MY GOD. JAMES HARDEN, WE ARE NOT WORTHY! Last game Harden did everything he possibly could to drag his team to victory, but through no fault of his own the team couldn't capitalize on the chances he gave them. This game he did the same in the 4th quarter, but the Rockets were able to actually pull it off. If James Harden isn't the MVP, then someone needs to punch every single voter in the face (except the ones who voted for him, of course). Harden has now had back-to-back games of 57 and 61 points, and this game he scored all that in only 37 minutes!! His shot is back, and just in time for the final push + playoffs.
Harden is straight up now the best offensive player in franchise history. Still nowhere near Olajuwon as overall player on both ends but as a scorer he is the greatest.
