The anti globalism mantra is 30 years late. GM moved the plant a long time ago

That genie is out the bottle unless you support Warren's idea of being them up into smaller companies.

Soulless Gingers need not apply.

So I take it along with the southern border wall to keep out the brown people you also want a wall around Ireland to keep out those white illegal immigrants?

When you make outlandish claim, it's automatically fall into 'this is conspiracy theory'. Back up your claims - a link (not to conspiracy site) would go a long way.

You are probably thinking of outsourcing, which is a different problem.

It's more expensive to hire and retain foreigner to work in the US than to hire American. Why would any business want to have more expensive payroll? They don't. They do this because there is a lack of skill.

These companies compete globally. If they can't get the human resources they need in the USA, they are going to have to open offices outside the USA to do so.

    https://www.shrm.org/resourcesandto...mployers-cost-time-hiring-foreign-talent.aspx

Employers in the U.S. that hire workers from abroad can spend more than three times what they do for domestic hires, while it can take six times longer to bring a foreign worker on board than a native worker, new research shows.

When canada is paying half as much I don't think they will be able to attract talent. That is why all the kids are from Waterloo and McGill are going SV or NYC.

Anti globalism is the mark of someone who can’t hack it in the 21st century.

It’s sucks the competition got tougher but the world wasn’t always going to rubble after WW2.

Texas is the biggest exporting state, is Texas elitist? Michigan also exports a lot, are they elitist?

Globalism benefits those with relevant skills and in demand industries....

Is that what you think the upper class wealthy are doing? Is that what you think this rising upper middle class is doing or do they have relevant skills that pays well?

You can’t deny the absolute wealth of the US that has dramatically increased over two tech booms (late 90s and now).

Because the GOP is about greed, not proper governance, whereas other countries seek an educated populace, the GOP can't win on ideaology, so they want an ignorant base.
