Hey I never said I didn't like House I was saying people were out making him the next Superstar. I want every Rocket to do well because in the end it means the Rockets are doing well. Why don't you make a post about the people who wanted to trade Harden and keep Dwight?? I think that's more of a slap in the face haha
I think we should just flood the BBS with topics with love to House, so Morey and Tilman know how much we hate them for not paying him.
See but that's a lie....people weren't n aren't making him out to be the next superstar other then the house haters trying to save face now that they look stupid saying he was playing a dangerous game lol. This people was trying to make him a superstar is just a fake narrative by you guys. Plan n simple
Once again, any scrub can look good next to Harden. I'm glad he is looking good J.R. As he should be. I'm actually happy for his good play and hope he can hold it up.
Right . Which is why it’s been so easy to get serviceable players right? Ariza has been the only comparable player in the carousel since harden has been here
You realize there is a thread on page 1 from a poster proclaiming House to potentially make a "Big 4" for the Rockets with posters inside speculating him being an all-star or 3rd star, right?
Lol u do know the guy who said it is probably a house hater....that's my point. U seriously think the OP thinks this. Its probably just to mock the people who think house can help the team. N another thing even if he is making that statement n believe it. Is it really like some big crazy statement that he might be the 4th best player lol. N also I love when people take one or a few guys extreme take n make it a blanket statement "everybody thinks this" lmao. Bro I can kind people that think we should trade James harden...or the people that wanted to trade cp3 early In the year.
Reminds me of the Capela FA. He was a RFA, looking for teams that would get him paid, still get meaningful play and contention. Rockets totally lucked out, no team offered Capela much money, and Morey did his best to give whatever we can. Very favorable contract. With House, bar is much lower, and he has great incentive to leave this team the way we treated him.
Those numbers are going to piss a lot of people off. But we should reserve judgement. Again, it’s not only about getting underneath the tax to avoid several penalties and allow us to be over in the future, it also allows us to have a considerably larger mid level ($8mil rather than $5mil). Trading in Knight for Shumpert was a low risk high reward move and shouldn’t be knocked. The only debate would be if we could have acquired someone else instead that would have put us over the tax but would have also gave us a better chance at the title this year, which I don’t believe was possible with our assets but who knows. Everything else should be ignored. We still have House for this playoff run. Trying to sign him this summer is a gamble but it in no way hindered our title chances this year AND whether you like it or not being under the tax line helps our future.
Chris Paul is 34 years old!!! The future is NOW! The window is now or never. Winning is clearly not the most important thing to this owner.
For sure. But also keep in mind how small a sample size Morey had and how many players he’s seen play well for Houston in an equal amount of games that turned out to be nobodies. Von Wafer. D Mo. ....ok I actually thought I could list a ton of people but I’m having a brain fart.
