I found this to be a very interesting perspective and definitely explains the rise of the Harden/Curry Era Rocket River
I watched about half of it , haven't gotten to the curry/ harden part .... which IMO , is almost entirely based off the three pointer and the new problems it creates of the defense with space . The NBA as a whole was WAY sloppier back then .... and by back then I mean like 10-15 years ago lol. The NBA has gone on a little revolution with data analysis and its informed strategy . And this has changed defense and its effectiveness greatly . For example , if you played one game with zero preparation .... a good offensive team (with its 3's and space ) would decimate a good defensive team from a previous era . The whole thing is changed from a ground up perspective which makes a comparison across era's really hard.
