Brett Gunning: There's gonna be some nights shots don't go in. Most looks were good, some not so good. These are nights you gotta generate offense in other ways. Defensively, we'll have to generate our energy off our stops to get easier looks. Yo, Brett(and other assistants), I'm really happy for you, I'ma let you finish, but Roy Rogers gives the best halftime interviews.
Smart pass from Trae Young with low bounce pass in fast break. Seven second less off. We need to do better transition D in second half and generate a run to get us a comfortable lead. B2B game
Clint is just feasting on the rolls to the basket ... if the Rockets were hitting an even average clip from three, they'd be dominating tonight.
random half-time note I learned from this game: The MLS Champions -- Atlanta United -- have the 19th highest attendance in the soccer world.
Well, I think they are afraid of a 2-3 spot fall back....everybody is bunched together within a game or game and a half. Unfortunately, the people around Jimmy don't produce consistently. Nobody wants him to get rest more than me but I feel that fear is the M.O.
Calvin: I'm not criticizing Coach D's offensive prowess but these are nights you got to look for middle distance shooting. The three, they were horrible. Middle distance, 19 feet and in, it's wide open. Right now, with all that middle distance open up, they can get a bunch of shots from that distance. Daryl Morey & Coach D faint.
All these posters btching about harden needing rest also need to realized that playoff seeding and home court advantage are also in play. We are 1 game ahead of the 4th seed and 3.5 games behind the first and second. If we lose this one b/c Harden sat out when he could have been playing, they probably would have btch about us losing our chance for higher seeding.
Then he's an idiot who's refusing to acknowledge the facts and stats...despite relying on them his entire career.
