    Here's a clue....

    Most late whistles, the refs are trying to save the defender a foul. The whistle is late because they're waiting to see if the ball goes in.

    Curry should be happy the ref tried to save him a foul.... because it was a foul.

    The way the Spurs are playing, they're gonna finish ahead of OKC. The question is where will Utah wind up?

    Still not a bad night. We haven't got any help from others to get the 2 seed, but quite a lot for solidifying the 3 seed.

    (though with OKC officially not a thread for the 3 seed anymore, Spurs and Utah are creeping up the horizon)

    I have to say I am impressed by the Spurs' ability to close out to the shooters on Defense. That is great.

    Hard closeouts on shooters, let them drive to the hoop, and force contested layups. We should certainly take a leaf from how Spurs defend the Dubs (and Bucks).
