All except House are average at best. Actually Faried stinks. And Luc was the best F on the team last year.

    Nope.

There are 144 minutes at PG/SG/SF. If Harden averages 36, Paul 34, Gordon 32 and House 28...That leaves 14 minutes and let's be honest, this team will play those guys more than that.

So 10-14 minutes between Rivers, Shumpert and Green. With Paul and Gordon both undersized for their positions (and our team in general), I find it unlikely we throw Rivers in the mix over Shumpert or even giving just those guys more minutes.

Other than against the Blazers or in blowouts, Rivers will struggle to get on the floor. As he should, this is the Western Conference playoffs and he is shooting 39% from the field, 46% from 2, 31% from 3 (on just 3.7 3pt attempts) and a disgustingly bad 54% at the line. That's truly horrendous. He was similarly horrible in his last 2 playoff series with the Clippers.

Yes he plays good defense, but with that kind of offense he needs to be DPOY-worthy and he is not. He's no Marcus Smart. He's basically a Ricky Rubio who can't pass or make FT's but plays slightly better defense.

I really hope we never have to play him. It's fine during the regular season to get some breathers for the starters and as injury insurance, but not in the playoffs dude.

Green needs to play 10 minutes, Rivers 4 minutes and shut down Shumpert.
    4 minutes = not effective

How about 4 guards and Capela lineup? Is it good enough to beat GS?
GS would have Bogut and 4 all stars.
GS would have Hampton five. (Iggy)

I agree I just wish we could run 10. I just feel we will not be able to control Pj's and Cp3 minutes without a 10 man rotation

Can 5 guards line up defeat GS Hampton Five? more shooters than GS.

    frontcourt: Tucker, Gordon, House
    backcourt: Harden, Paul

    35+ minuets:
    Harden & Paul

    30ish minuets:
    Capela, Tucker, Gordon, House, Faried

    Spot minuets:
    Nene - big man matchup
    Shumpert - defensive matchup
    Green - offensive energy
Rivers - eat clock if game is already decided
    Clark - 5 fouls

Coach should keep a firm hand by playing only “hot” players less Paul, Harden & Capela.

We still need to sign a 3 point specialist (we would be champions right now if we had one last year, IMO).

Hampton 5 is BS. Rockets need their best 5 and that includes Capela.

My guess: Shumpert moves out of the lineup and sees very few minutes. Same with Nene as Faried/Capela share the Center duties and the team goes 'small ball' on occasion with PJ running the center spot. When House comes in he will largely be a stretch 4 and spelling time for PJ. EG will be the first guard off the bench and GG/Rivers will get 10-15 mins to spell Harden/CP3. In big games I think you'll see us preferring Rivers over GG given his big game experience. This is my guess.

Cousins can grab many rebounds Draymond Green is only for defence, we need to start Faried in GS matchup.

    Starters
    Capela
    Tucker
    House or Gordon
    Harden
    Paul

    Reserves
    House or Gordon

Could be called up depending on matchups
    Nene
    Faried
    Shumpert
    Green
    Rivers

    11 deep atm :)

Though we will see a choice between Green and Shumpert soon. House has leapfrogged both of them

GG is being undervalued here by lots of yous. He needs a shot to play each game Imo. Get in there, put up some shots . If they're falling, keep him in. He can put up points quick.

    In the playoffs

I presume Paul Harden play 40 mins each (minimum)
Gordon Capela Tucker 35mins each (minimum)

Leaving 55 mins for everyone else

I think House will play 25 mins minimum

Leaving 30 mins for 2 others.
Thats presuming the minimum minutes stick.

Our roster is so freakin LOADED!!!! :)

I'm hoping we rotate guys based on matchups and whoever has the hot hand and solid defense!

Anybody that aint boxing out, hustlin for boards or working the defense end... go directly to the bench - do not pass go... ;)

It was a scheduled rest for Faried and Rivers....Gordon, Harden, etc will also get games like that (well maybe not harden if seeding is too close for comfort)

i guess we could just wait for the other team to call a timeout - then conduct our personnel changes at that point...

    ;) lol

Should DEFINITELY be the starting lineup:
    Paul
    Harden
    House
    Tucker
    Capela

    CP/Rivers
    Gordon
    Green
    Shumpert
    Faried/Nene

uhm no its not. he still has not played well. even last game was a -10. he hit one damn three and you all went crazy. shump should be glued to the bench. rivers is a better playoff performer than him.
