    Could be better than Rivers and fit well next to Harden/CP3 as more of a scoring guard. I believe he only makes $2.2m over there. Since we're practically a lock to trade Gordon, this might also be the first time we can legitimately offer him a key rotation gig on a winning team.

    Hmm that’s enticing if he can keep up that level of play and have it translate to the NBA. That said, dude has repeatedly declined our advances at bringing him here. I don’t see why he’d have a change of heart at this point.

    Good point. Goes without saying but Melo was atrocious. I truly believe Rockets would have a better record had Melo not been signed even if it was just for 10 games. He was arguably the worst defender I’ve ever seen. The Pels and Clippers looked like contenders against us when we had Melo,
