High enough that one would need a ceiling fan constantly running to achieve decent air temperature distribution.
We all know where the ceiling of House is. Let's talk about the window of helping us win, or will he hit the wall in the playoffs and will be shown the door in the offseason.
Where's the poll option for "quality starter" ? He's no MVP , he's no scrub either … just a solid wing contributor on both ends of the court.
I'm actually sorta-not-surprise how hyped up- good Danuel House plays. He is related to Eddie House, that's when I think into my memory and resolve to 2008 NBA Finals, Lakers vs Celtics. Classic series, Eddie House delivered in such games as shown in the clips below: After all, it's a House-hold name (sorry for the pun) . Danuel House will leave his own legacy behind. Next generation house-hold name/family players supposes be better than the former. No matter how many minutes he plays, what team he plays for around NBA, he'll always find a way to spark ball movement involving few touches around him. He is different to Troy Daniels (who sadly isn't related to anyone I know off in NBA) PS. Totally unaware that I am posting about a Celtics player on a St-Patrick-Day Weekend, seriously, unintentional to do this !
Its hard to say how high House's ceiling is because he has high bball IQ, self-awareness and athletic ability when he is trying on the court. He had me fooled because he was playing half-assed in the Gleague but in the NBA he is always in the right place doing the right play. Like when he started sprinting to block the final shot, he was able to predict that the opponent would go on the fast break but also be athletic enough to capitalize on that prediction unlike somebody like Rivers who also has high bball IQ but isnt athletic enough to realize his goals. I think House will be a starter and pretty much give us prime Ariza production which would be huge.
Where's the choice for Rockets fans @topfive ? Like: Helps us win a championship this year, Harden Finals MVP, House signs 3 year deal with the Kets in the offseason
Don't really know what his ceiling is but his skill set seems to be as a solid starter on this team. he does not have great handles to create his own shot of to be much of a playmaker he seems to be a good team defender a able to switch. I am still wary of the fact he was cut by 3 separate teams so his skill set does not translate to every team which is why I don't think he will be in demand. Now if he continues to flourish through the playoffs I can see more teams bidding for his services. Will be interesting to see if Dantoni's system will be a negative for his value.
i voted super sub. I think he could possibly perform a level (or even 2) higher - but I doubt MDA would give him a more extensive opportunity... based on MDA's penchant for veterans - and of course the desire to not drive House's value to a level that precludes us from possibly retaining him in the off season... I think he's gonna be a 'as needed' option...
i don't know about that I think Dantoni is a big fan of House he has spoken highly of him in interviews and he played him big minutes once he inserted him in the lineup. I have not heard him speak about a role player like him since Green.
