Hopefully Nene bounces well in the playoffs.

The real question is who the hell voted him into office in the first place?

If we lose in the playoffs it's because our frontcourt is very thin. I like Faried, Nene, and Capela but they're no match for elite bigs like Cousins and Jokic. They would eat us alive.

He was the only big bodied center remaining due to Morey’s severe neglect. Goal is to beat GS with Cousins....don’t have to play him in bad matchups. Enjoy watching Cousins push toothpick Capella around in the playoffs. :(

If we're going to lose in the playoffs it won't be because of our frontcourt; it'll be because our 3s aren't falling.

    Severe neglect? Oh, my.

And if GSW are beating me because of BC then I'll take my chances w/Boogs over Steph, over KD, over Klay. Any severely neglected day!

Arsedness like sophomoric namecalling should merit a suspension from the site.

Will do and I hope your search for a new team to root for next season goes well.

It will be because of shooting.

If they are hitting 35%+ of their threes, the opponent isn't able to be as "big" as the Rockets spread the floor with shooting.

    12-32

    vs.

    11-41

Bigs will play a factor and be important because of rebounding. GSW had 12 offensive boards to the Rockets 5.

We could use a big with range, but we don't need a traditional banger....that is stupid.

It's a combination of everything. I admit our poor shooting is the biggest problem right now.

That's always been this team's problem though. If I have to be mad at Morey it wouldn't be for not getting Kanter; it's that he didn't trade for Korver.

Honestly, I thought that Korver had nothing left in the tank. I agree Kanter's terrible defense would have been a liability for us.

Why does it have to be only ONE factor? I see people keep saying, "If we lose, it's because of X." There are plenty of things that can go wrong. It can be not hitting shots. It can be turnovers. It can be defense. It can be injuries. etc.

Talking about how one factor needs to be fix does not have to preclude other factors. If you start a thread about not hitting 3s, there will always be people jump in and say that if we lose, it's going to be our weak defense.

I for one think that our thin front court is going to be a problem with big centers inside. You can see last night that Capela was too weak and Faried and Tucker were too short to guard Cousins. The only hope we have defensively is Nene. But we all know that Nene is a part-time player. And I haven't even mentioned about rebounding.

For the record, I don't think Kanter would help either.

True. Look to game 7 last year. Idiots point to 27 missed threes, but the officiating, lack of Paul, Ariza being worn out factors were also at play pretty dramatically too.

What annoys me is no one in the national media sees the flip side of that: the team of destiny needed all that to go their way to beat the rockets. If one of those things flips our way I think we would have won that contest.

We actually need a better, more playable version of Nene.

Everyone is acting like the sky is falling.

The Warriors won a game they really wanted more than the Rockets by 2 points......

The Rockets made too many mistakes, but they were not mistakes forced by GS.

I saw no match up where I felt the Rockets were flat out cooked.

I unliked this post, just to re-like it again.

Hell, I would max out the rep I could give you just for this post.

Say it louder for the people in the back, the warriors won ONE game against us, by a two point margin. The rockets average margin of victory against them this season is almost in double digits, even with this loss.
