Serge Ibaka fights/chokes Rockets legend for no apparent reason

and eventually enough becomes enough. which happened last night

 

Getting Ibaka ejected is the most useful thing Chriss had ever done for any team he's been on.

 

Chriss is going to be suspended for landing a punch, but my question is, when someone grabs you by the throat what does the NBA expect you to do? Sit there and take it? Not saying he didn't provoke Ibaka, but this isn't a cut and dry "fight".

 

isn't ibaka like 5 years older than he really is?

 

He is 5 years older than his age minus 5 years

NBA is too soft now. When Melo throw a single punch in Denver, he was out for i think 20 games.

That’s savage, I love it. Elite trash talk with an air of civility. Trash talk is probably a lost art, which is why Ibaka lost his mind.

 

Normally I would condemn Ibaka for seemingly attacking somewhere outta nowhere for no reason ( Chriss def said something though). But I can't find a less sympathetic person for him to attack from behind. Can't explain why and aware this isn't PC, but Chriss just comes across as one of those guys that needs to get hit and learn a little humility. I just don't like the guy at all.

 

How's that making NBA soft? That's complete opposite.

 

rumor has it chris went way below the belt and said "you're a poo poo head with cooties"

also it also looked like he might have tried to trip ibaka, which could also trigger the choking.

 

chriss got 1 game for throwing a punch. but the kid was getting the polyester filling squeezed out of his gumby head

i completely see your point, we're looking at different angles. if you want the game to be dirty back to bad boys era then you're right. but if you want it cleaner, i am. Ibaka's action should be discouraged in the court.

 

If Chriss is a Rockets legend, does that make this fight a legendary fight?

 

It looked like Chriss did a nudge or push to make Ibaka fall and then said something to him while Ibaka was on the floor. Probably why he got pissed and punched him.
