ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 3/13/2019

Bro its taxing to do that over and over and over, a Harden steph back three over Curry is an effective shot. He.Just.Has.To.Hit. Also the Warriors arent just gonna let these guys swtich on to Cousins every single time, its not how it works. They are gonna work hard to prevent that. Bro, we are one of the most cerebral teams(if not the most) you dont think Paul or Harden know that? Of course they do, either the wernt doing it because they couldnt or they werent doing it cause its a regular season game and they arent gonna show their hand.

 

It depends on if Dantoni plays House at the 4, which could work tbh.

 

I feel like Faried might be unplayable vs Warriors. This guy was like a no show tonight. In a 7 game series I’d rather go small and put Danuel House in there or just overall play nene over Faried. Faried wasn’t able to stop anyone or put hustle anyone for any rebounds

 

One thing to take away from this game is that Kenneth Faried has no business playing against a good offensive team in the playoffs. He is lost out there.

 

I kind of was. Tucker at the 4 is the reason we get out rebounded this year...that's a fact. Why people liked n w was noted more of the Clint Faried lineup. Where u been at bro. People have been getting on tuck even on this streak

 

Game 5 & 7 in Oracle is gonna be tough

 

Unfortunately, I think the statement is also that the Rockets are willing to go 11-41 (27%) on 3s. Still willing to live and die by the three. That zealotry will just always make me extremely nervous.

 

Lol one did u watch the 4th. The rockets literally got the switch everytime they did it. N 2 that's why u have cp3 n Gordon. U switch out. It's not that hard they have done it...everytime they have beating golden state these last 2 years that's what they have done. Do u even watch the rockets

 

N what hand that's why I said they were being too cute...everybody knownthat what we do against to ro ESPN they have articles on that's all we do with insane success against him. Hell they even had a articles saying harden switches on curry is the most out of any player in the nba... n said switch yield the highest points per possession in the NBA. Like it's no secret even curry has comment he knows that's the game plan.

 

What are u talking bout we beat them with fariad starting....I swear do people watch games when they say things. Like he literally was the reason we beat them a game

 

And they are stupid for that, he has never been the problem, no one is asked to do more on defense than him because we dont have enough people pulling their weight defensively. I've been here and it was stupid then and its stupid now. No one has been saying crap on this win streak btw, thats a fact. He's is the heart and soul of our defense and if you dont believe that, than I dont know what to tell you.

Are you serious, do i watch the Rockets? Cmon man dont talk down here. If we werent doing that the whole game, that should tell you something. Do you really think CP3,Harden and MDA are that stupid, now. Thats always been the strategy, if anything we were testing things out this game. We ran plays weve never even tried. And btw, defense was the reason we took GS to 7 games.

 

Man, they were not as locked in that game as they were now. Also for all the energy Faried brings, he is not that great defensively.

 

Faried was the 2nd best player on the floor vs. the warriors when they beat them in oracle without harden, now he’s unplayable.

Boogie was terrible in that loss without harden but just abused Clint for 27/8/7.

Iso takes alot of toll on the body my man, you cant do that every single time, Harden is injured.

 

it was our 3rd game in 4 nights that might have had something to do with it.

 

Who saying bench tucker....what the masses is saying he should play the 3..we know he good on d. But we still need to rebound. That's the compromise.


So then u making my point they was not doing it purposely which I contend is stupid. This a game we could of use for the one seed. Not the time to experiment then when that doesnt work get to 8 mins left then start doing what always worked. Catch it to 1 doing it but doing it to late. That's my whole point that mda was being cute instead of getting the win

 

I don't know about others, but I kind of got the feeling that entire game we weren't trying to show too much for the Warriors to work on.

I mean.... in the Playoffs we are not going to be seeking out a Looney iso over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I didn't even see a switch to put Curry on the ball once. We are going to feast on him in the post season.

I saw only a hard double on Curry on a pnr forcing him backwards once and that was in the first half. (I did skip through some of the game) Fourth quarters are going to be full of that defensive play in the post season.

It would've been nice for a win... but i'm not as annoyed as I would've been any other time we lose to these chumps because I truly don't believe the Rockets wanted to show any cards today.

I hope House gets back in the starting line up so Gordon can get back to the bench.

Paul, Rivers, Gordon, Faried are going to obliterate this years' Warriors second hand crew.

 

Remember they played their big lineup sign faried and capela couple weeks ago when they beat the warriors. That lineup seemed very effective grabbing boards and defending clogging up lanes. Not sure why Sabrina opted to go with Gordon. Gordon at the 3 stinks. Too small and makes rotation imbalanced. He’s best at 6th Man 2 spot. Smh house needs to start at the 3 or faried at 4 and Tucker at 3. But with the big lineup Gordon seems to play better at the starting 2. Sometimes I wonder if rox can experiment with cp3 as 6th man but he gets paid too much lol

 

I understand that...but that's why the team has 3 n 4 guys counting rivers that can do that. The team is build to substan that. We have no play. Our whole offense is iso n pick n roll.
