Well, yeah. But were people honestly expecting it to still be in play for the Rockets, after they'd botched the first third of the season the way they did?

I'm surprised the 2 seed is realistically in play for them, to be honest. Who would've guessed that was possible 3 weeks ago?

No he has to follow the simple template..again ill say it over n over again. Get switch with boogie shot 3...get switch on curry drive. It's not hard its 5he template that's tried n true. They didnt do that this game

To my eyes, Harden was burned out sometime around the middle of January. He's been okay since then, but nowhere close to the guy who was scoring 40-50 points like most guys get 20. I hope he gets better but I'm not expecting too much to change at this point.

Wasn't impressed by the team tonight. Despite the late push, the Warriors comfortably manhandled them on their own floor. Can't beat that team if you're letting Curry and Thompson get their stuff in, and then Cousins murdering Capela on top of that was all they needed to put the game out of reach.

The Rockets played like crap most of the game and still had a shot to tie at the end(before the intentional foul anyway). So I guess we can take that as a positive. But they have to show up mentally for these kinds of games that have so much on the line. Other than CP3, it felt like the team was out of it.

And D'Antoni has to get his sh-t together too. I'm actually ok with him not playing House tonight. He literally just returned to Houston and I get not throwing him out there against the Warriors after being away for so long. But what the hell kind of logic goes into sitting Nene tonight when he hasn't played since Sunday? We needed him out there with the way Capela and Faried were being manhandled. Rest him against Phoenix on Friday for God's sake!

He doesn't even have to be a high percentage 3pt shooter (hopefully House and Gordon can do that---I've given up hope that Tucker will bomb corner threes ever again). He just has to not go 2-12. Ugh.

We lost the game mid/late 3rd there. We were getting stops but our rebounding was atrocious and we let them get way too many rebounds (Looney was really causing havoc). I actually thought Capela played poor and I was disappointed by how Cousins seemed to have his way with him.

0 rebounds in 31 minute for Gordon.

That’s the only thing I worry about Gordon when he starts at SF.

What are the chances that the last 2 minute report will show that Curry travelled and then fouled Gordo on the last possession?

My prediction is they will own up to it, but make up some bogus missed calls that benefited us to even it up

The Warriors outrebounded the Rockets 44-31, including 12-5 on the offensive glass.

    That’s the game.

When pus** snake as* KD is back, we’ll take them. Cousins is better when he gets the ball more in his hands. With KD present, his usage rate goes down making him a liability. Honestly if CP and Harden and Capela can stay healthy, we will beat them in the playoffs.

    Goodnight.

Thats MDA he wasn't trying to win the game. The other thing House is more comfortable with the style of play right now. Shump knows these boys good enough to play a little better defense than that he was getting smoked. He looks tentative this guy has a wolverine mentality. looks lost and out of synch

House at the 4 is not the same as Tuck. House is taller, has a longer wingspan, bigger hops, and is more athletic. His DREB% was higher than PJ.

Tucker is probably the worst of the "big guys" we could choose from our roster to play the 4, and we're starting him!

I mean, do you want them to show all their cards right now? Like this is a regular season game, it means nothing in terms of tactics. And Harden can hit threes over Curry, he has the height advantage.

Forget Cousins. KD being back means less shots for Thompson which is a bigger key. I'm not as worried about Cousins. Playoff Capela and playoff Nene can wreck him.

Rockets came out like they had no fight. James has got to start moving the ball quicker. Also I don't understand why we can't rebound this year. Lastly, we know how GS plays but still leave their shooters open

Dude, Tucker has been shooting great lately, he needs people to step us defensively and tehn he will have more legs for his shot.

That's not the most efficient thing to do against a weak short guy...its more punishing n easy to.drive n attack him. Again 2 birds with one stone. U get him into foul trouble. That's the def between smart player n not so smart...of course u can shoot 3s over him but why when u can do something easier n more effective.....oh course u could drive around boogie n u would. By why when u can take him away from the paint n of u miss ur big is under the rim against a small now. See u have to use ur brain too in basketball brother. Them easy win win tactics

One of the reasons is Clint is out guarding the three point line when there is a rebound for dispute instead of being in the paint fighting for the boards. When he was rolling before his injury he was having huge rebound games because he was under the bucket. The coaching staff has reverted him back to switch defender

Last two games, including this one, he's 2-11. But you're right that if you look at his last 10, he went 24-51. Which ain't too shabby. Better than I thought, and I remember being delighted at his 5-5 game recently.

If House comes back---and gets playing time---will that take enough minutes off Tucker so we can see more 5-5 and 4-9 games, and fewer 1-7 like tonight?

He has to do that against gsw...my question is why weren't we doing the same tactics against boogie on the other end....that what I been screaming all night. U saw it on there end but we wasn't bring him out making him have to do the same. Why is that...bad coaching being cute
