Harden is not the same and he needs to adjust. This slow too much 1-on-1 I will take a three whenever I want is getting old.

 

Bro that's no excuse. Have u seen the offense we run...the same one they run on the vipers. When do u ever see us run a play. We iso n pick n roll. Really gonna say we need a.practice when the team doesnt even practice..come.on clutch fans

 

He is clearly hindered by something. earlier in the season he was blowing by people and throwing down vicious Jams. Right now he has no lift even on his layups

 

This is ridiculous Wilbon don't know basketball ,Steve Kerr played his hand. we know exactly how they are going to play now with cousins. MDA needs to make an adjustment inthe pick n roll and school players on gang rebounding and boxing out. The Wings and corners need to initiate it at the elbow more to draw the bigs out of the paint and makes more easier buckets for us. Faried and Capela. This is a great loss that reminds the Team as to how playing with a lack of urgency will get you beat. The rox deserved to lose by more. This is just the kind of stuff that forces a competitor like Cp3 to start pressing and get himself hurt. I was more worried about that than the rox winning the game lol

Rockets have VERY few 2-way players.

House might increase us to THREE total.

 

That -13 on the boards was the primary killer. Looney, off the bench, had 5 offensive boards alone. Tuck, Faried, Rivers, and Shump combine for JUST 12 total points. Why MDA feels Nene is more valuable against the Suns, instead of Cousins tonight, I'll never know. We contained Curry to 8-20 and (except Cousins), the other GS starters still had a negative +/-

I was frustrated that House didn't even get a look tonight, the Shump experiment has not panned out as well as we would like, and Nene should have been out there to spell Clint vs Cousins..

But, strangely enough, I'm not that pissed that Rockets lost. When we play them again, KD will be there, meaning Steph/Klay/Cousins will all have fewer shot attempts and their ball movement will be reduced overall.

The "statement" made tonight, is that the Rockets shoot 11-41 on 3s and just lose by 2 points. If one more went in, we win despite Cousins playing the best game of his season with Clint playing one of his worst defensive games of the season.

 

great call Harden was trying to make reads and the Warriors are not going to attack him until he makes his move first. That way they keep him on the defensive oppose to the other way around. That's why he needed top play a little faster to make them react. Then again we want them to have to adust on the fly oppose to giving them something they can gameplan in the future on

you know instead of putting a short Paul on Klay or injured Shumpert House could have done a more reasonable job at 6 foot 7 and 225 pounds

The rockets got whatever they wanted on cousins and curry but kept attacking klay, iggy, and looney smh

 

So negative. The Rockets are now tied with the Thunder for the 3rd seed, and are currently losing the tiebreaker 1-2. They're 3 games behind the Nuggets, and the Rockets lead that series 2-1. They get another game in their remaining 14 with both the Nuggets and Thunder. Rockets play 6 more games against teams with winning records, and 2 with SAC, who are .500. Nuggets have 11 games against teams with winning records. Thunder have 10 games against teams with winning records.

Rockets tough games are at Milwaukee, home v Denver, at OKC. Maybe add the Clippers game? EDIT: Whoops, add San Antonio. Point still holds.
Nuggets have to play: Indiana, at Boston, at Indiana, Detroit, at Houston, at OKC, at Golden State, San Antonio, home and home with the Blazers, and at Utah. Whew.
OKC has to play: at Indiana, Golden State, (Miami), home and home with Toronto, Indiana again, Denver, then they get to wrap up the season with Houston then at Milwaukee. Ouch. Of course they could play the East as well as the Rockets did.

The chase for the 2 seed isn't close to being over.

 

Exactly like i keep.saying over n over. We had the money play but for some reason disnt wanna cheese it..we handicapped ourselves...like it was a win win to.iso them 2. Like I mentioned with boogie on the 3 point line trying to guard harden on the step back 3 it also takes him away to rebound which they killed u on. So by doing a boogie iso u would of killed.2.birds with ome stone

 

Well the number one seed is gone.

 

Tucker has proven over and over that he is just too small to be an effective 4. At the 3 spot on the other hand, he was great (see 3rd game vs Warriors).

Gordon has to go to the bench and figure out how to shoot well off the bench again. House or Faried needs to start at the 4 because we desperately need more size.

 

See, for us to beat them Harden has to hit the three. Thats all there is to it. Thats all it is. Even with Durant there, if James hits his three, we will be in a good position. Thats what Im thinking about the most. James has to be a high percentage shooter for this to go well.

 

Also...lol, god first thing you dudes do is blame the coach whenever we arent winning man....like I get it, hes not perfect but damn find something else to contribute with.

 

Faried. We need 4 not house playing 4. That's the same as tuck
