Agreed but Faried’s strengths were sorely lacking this game. He needs some time to get back to his effectiveness

Now the Rockets will know what to expect instead of going to the next game against the Warriors with false hope. The inside of the Warriors just crushed us- DeMarcus won the game for them. In place of DeMarcus with Durant, we likely beat them because Durant is a finesse player. And Klay against CP3 is just so unfair, I'm surprised Rockets just let him go 1 on 1.

Rockets purposely made it hard...u could of play Clint n Faried at the forwards cp3 harden n tuck. Then just ran the switch all game long all while bring thier big on the perimeter while ur 2 bigs crash after every 3. It was so simple

great idea! He should totally say that. You know that's the argument at the Worrier's fan site right now.

"They play much more like their capable of without Durant. We weren't ready for their ball-movement and sharing of the ball, and how Draymond and Cousin's were able to get Klay going. Much more fluid team without Durant."

It's too bad that we're starting Gordon and Gordon struggled coming off the bench.

We need him to come off the bench and play well because as the starting 3, we are hopelessly undersized especially when Cousins is on the court and we don't have Nene.

The Capela/Faried/Tucker combo worked so well in the 3rd game. Really hope that's not the last time we see that.

I still step back from it and see 4 all stars on Golden St. and 2 on the Rockets. It's simple math. The Rockets will need to play beyond their capabilities to beat the Warriors in 7. Everyone has to play their best game.

    Jeff Bzdelik did his job.

Holding the warriors to 106 through 4 quarters is solid.

While I think you have a point there, most of the beef was just for the media and for the other teams.

Green and Durant are tight, Green recruited Durant to join them. I think it has deteriorated but they are still cool at least on the court.

What Green meant was Durant's ISO game is impeding their ball movement, which is true.

It just sounds like Durant is useless but his ISO game to finish quarters and kill runs is still very important.

Gotta use it at the right moment.

That stretch late where MDA had Shump and not Green in was a mistake. If you play slow you must have body and ball movement . if you play with Pace you can iso. They have to manage the clock better. Curry got away with being aggressive with James. Just a heads up on how they are going to let them play in the playoffs we need to kick up our aggressiveness as well.

Not having KD in definitely worked to Klay's advantage. He was freer to shoot rather pass and had no problem scoring which hurt us.

Boogie playing like his old self exposed Clint's defense against a very capable offensive player which hurt us.

Leaving lanes open to the basket too many times hurt us.

Bricking a lot of threes hurt us.

But in spite of all that, with the good shooting by Gordon, the oops to Clint and the better defense in the second half. we almost pulled it out. I hope we learned from this game that this is the Warriors team we're going to see in the playoffs.

Hate to admit it but true...also outhustled all over the court...standing WAITING on a rebound while GS hustles around you to get it. Hey, we're good but this game didn't seem to be as important as I thought it would be to the team.
