What's the logic in paying someone to take your admissions test? If you couldn't get in with your own merits, how do you expect to make it through the program? And say you bribe someone to do all your assignments, what's that diploma going to get you when you're dumb as rocks? Beauty bloggers and influencers don't need diplomas. If you just want the college experience, it's easy to pretend to be a student.
I think you might overrate the difficulty of a lot of college programs, even at elite schools. For a lot of degrees the most difficult part is being admitted. Just my opinion. But the grade inflation at places like Stanford is ridiculous.
Yeah, you're right. There are a lot of useless degrees out there. I still question what that paper diploma will do. People keep on yelling about the 1-and-done college hoops stars subverting the "student athlete" experience. Turns out it's the bench-warming scrubs on the water polo team that are the real cheaters.
First off, college is a big slimeball industrial complex that preys on the 'American Dream' mindset to sell most people watered-down education that they don't really need. Unless you're in a STEM or Medical degree program, you don't need college, or at least, you don't need it at anything other than a bottom of the basement cheap ass college degree. And that's non-profit schools. For-profit schools are the scum of the earth. Second, if you have to cheat on an entrance exam to get into USC, you really are an idiot and have no business getting a degree even at McDonalds U.
