Jealous much? He was drafted for his potential, but no one knew it was for his mascot potential. Morey fails again.
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26173297/10-things-like-including-chris-paul-swagger 7. It's just not happening for Marquese Chriss Andrew Wiggins is the current captain of the "It's Just Not Happening" team, but Minnesota Timberwolves fans have been through enough. Chriss has somehow regressed in Year 3, and playing real minutes with the Cleveland Cavaliers has made things worse. I'm not sure there is any player more out of sorts on offense. He's shooting 28 percent on 3-pointers and 46 percent on 2-pointers. His fouls and turnovers have spiked in the manner of someone who is still a beat behind processing the game. The Suns eased Chriss into some playmaking duty from the elbows, and at times, he looked comfortable there. Not now. He commits illegal screens on handoffs, and throws passes that are too late or off-target: http://media.video-cdn.espn.com/gifs/mp4/7_12_7_06_2Q_CLE_DET_3_2_Chriss_TO_2GIF.mp4 He just runs into dudes in traffic: http://media.video-cdn.espn.com/gifs/mp4/11_05_10_55_4Q_CLE_BKN_3_6_Chriss_TO_2GIF.mp4 Help defenders seem to surprise him. He doesn't have a Plan B. Perhaps most distressing: Chriss travels a lot -- in the post, when he tries to pump-and-drive, even just triggering run-of-the-mill dribble moves. Chriss should be an NBA player. Let's hope he finds a stable path there.
It doesn't matter what your physical skill set is when you: 1. Don't like basketball 2. Don't work hard 3. Have no natural aptitude for basketball 4. Are arrogant 5. No maturity Chriss is basically an arrogant version of Stromile Swift. At least Swift was willing to listen to his coach, even if he never mentally understood what was asked of him.
1000% this. At the start of the season this dude surprised me with how stupid he is and that is hard to do at this point until surpassed by David Irving this morning. In retrospect the problem everyone knows about him now would seem to have been completely obvious in any lengthy draft evaluation. This further illustrates the complete disarray present in the Suns organization of how this fool was in their sights. Without trading up they literally could have tripped over any other player and done better. VanVleet wasn't drafted. Poeltl was drafted right ahead and they could have drafted Siakam. What a joke. This guy is unplayable in the NBA regardless of his percentages. He doesn't even know where he belongs on the court or how to pass or who to defend. Your #3 killed me when I saw it. So damn true.
idk if something happened early... but that didnt look like anything... more like a flop than anything...
umm lil boy chriss stared him down. probably said something too. a vet like ibaka isn't letting a kid like chriss do that to him
doesnt say much about Ibaka if he's gonna let himself get tossed over a scrub like Chriss.... I'm sure Cleveland would take that trade off every time... lol
