I'm going to go out on a limb here and say whoever wins the electoral college. More seriously, I dont know yet but this race to out-progressive one another is pushing me away.
Really? You were dealt this hand by "Boomers?" We put both of our adult children through college and we're Boomers. Paint with a broad brush much? I'll add that our kids were very lucky that we were able to do that, which took some long term planning. Most college graduates, in their tens of millions, are holding college debt, based on the chart below. A more current chart would likely be even worse. The total student loan debt is staggering, and if this country wants to build the middle class, something has to be done about it. Lowering the interest rate to just above that set by the Fed for all college debt, across the board, would be a start. It would require legislation. Something else that should be done is to outlaw phony colleges that are essentially diploma mills, and trump knows all about that racket. Here's another chart that's interesting: This is a huge problem facing an enormous number of both former and current students who's parents didn't have the wherewithal to foot the bill. All of this is rather astonishing to me. I remember a semester at a major Houston university in 1969 costing $160 bucks, plus books and fees. Actually, it was probably less than that. You could work part time and put yourself through college. I knew numerous people that did, people I still know, aging boomers who built the economy you're enjoying, and that a minority of Americans seem determined to f*** up. What happened to that? Why is college so absurdly expensive today? Public universities? It is a failure of leadership on both the state and federal level, and that needs to change, in my humble opinion.
Stop blaming broke ass boomers who cant afford healthcare without dealing with a shady insurance company and broke ass college grads who cant afford to buy mcdonalds without pulling out a credit card. Both are in debt.
What are you babbling about? Are you in unhinged? Did you even read my post? Good grief. You don't want a discussion. You want a shoulder to cry on. Poor you.
I was refering to the guy you quoted, i agree the cost of education is absurd in this country and the value of the knowledge they are receiving is not getting them hired.
My mistake, i didnt feel like going back and quoting him. I get sick of boomers and millenials blaming each other for something niether of them are responsible for. It’s sad how the education system in this country sucks you in at a young age and drops you off as just a high school graduate worth nothing to society and then forces you to enter into debt by going to college or your worthless. the last 15 out of 18 years of your life (all of your concious years) become meaningless. We already have too much hate and division. Men vs women, old vs young are just unecesary.
Just tell me more of these politicians that were assassinated due to their share the wealth policy. I can't prove he was or wasn't...neither can you.
We start bordering conspiracy theory territory. It only gets deeper and deeper and if you do not believe that then whats the point. I know the earth is round, there are no aliens, and we landed on the moon. Lets not go down this rabbit hole though.
You really should listen to andrew yangs podcast with joe rogan. He agrees with everything you posted.
If it was outrageous at king fish and his every man a king beliefs then yes, i will concede this one. Who do you think should be the president in 2021?
At this point...I don't like any of the announced candidates. So...who are these other politicians that have been assassinated? I found a list of every single assassinated politician in the USA, and not a single one looks to have been killed for their economic plans. Just give me one other name...just one, so I can research. I'm trying to understand what you're saying.
Give his podcast on joe rogan a listen. at least hear him out. It is not what you guys think. He explains it in 15 minutes.
What politician's name does he mention who was assassinated due to his share the wealth policy? After all...you should back up your statement, or retract it. Also...not sure who "they" refers to. Throughout history they have assassinated every single politician who has suggested taxing the rich.
