That is how some operate. If you retire or get fired from a job making 10 plus million a year that is your fault. Go find another job or use the millions you made to start a new business.
Because they are not business men. They are athletes. Some just want to retire with their families and spend time with and train their kids to be athletes. They will get taxed on marketing dollars and endorsements and business income. But for the less than 100 athletes who earned over $10 million last year it is unfair considering most will never be able to earn that again by the tail end of their contract. Name one other profession you cant do in your 30s and 40s as well as you can in your teens-20s. Athleticisim dwindles with age.
I want the tax, the $12k is nothing, but if the rich do not want to pay their taxes then yang gang. It will be the answer to the elites dominance in the long term. Any economist can see it.
Well, that was a worthless rejoinder; what the hell kind of fever dream makes you think you're the first or only person in this country to incur educational debt?
The post was because when any right wing republican sees a non-conservative idea they automatically lump it in with leftist ideology and the word libtard races to their brain. It is clear he does not make a single million. Why he is defending billionaires is beyond me. One billlionaire costs society billions of dollars.
Athletes earning $10+ million/year may not all be businessmen, but the vast majority have agents, lawyers and business managers to enable them to be businessmen. There are also many who are very good at starting businesses and marketing themselves. And to answer your question...male p*rn star.
Male p*rn stars do not make over 10 million dollars and i do not feel sorry for the ones who do. As for athletes, their business income would be taxable just like everyone else. One billionaire costs society a lot, and leaves a huge carbon footprint on this planet compared the average individual. There needs to be a luxury tax in america. Tax avoidance is also a huge issue.
It is besides the point and irrelevant to the discussion. Dispute the fact that one billionaire costs society billions of dollars.
Well, I'm not conservative. The rest of your post is some kind of conjecture about someone you're referring to in the third person.
The last line was trolling, it's welcome round these parts and 2 can play it. But yeah, either you know what I am talking about or you do not. Some people are quick to throw labels and it's like dude, I don't care. These guys should be paying their taxes. That's all I'm saying.
This is so illogical. You do realize, there are a number of folks, in various forms of business who will only earn 10+ million plus once, twice or a handful of times in their life. Not everyone, and probably the vast majority of folks, who earn 10+ million in a given year are only doing that once or a handful of times in their life. It's not like, "I've reached the 10+ million earners club and now I get this every year for forever" - good lord.
I can't speak for all my fellow >$10,000,000 a year in earning brethern, but once I earn dollar # $10,000,000 I'm shutting down all my productivity for the year. 70% of Zero is still Zero.
I know that you're trolling so I'm done in this thread. I refuse to believe anyone is this ignorant. If you're serious, please don't have children until you grow up.
Bill Gates doesn't pay taxes? Bill Gates costs the US billions of dollars? Do you have any idea of the humanitarian work that Bill Gates does?
