Not to crash on your dream but why will you trade Mercilus without Clowney locked up for sure. You risk losing both your OLBs if he sits out or you trade him.
True. Don't have to trade Mercilus if we lose Clowney. Just trying to get a little draft capital back.
Teams are making moves all around the NFL and what are the Texans doing but sitting on their hands? Looks like not much has changed down on Kirby after all.
I gave you a list of 3rd round picks to 7th round picks that became starters in the past few drafts. You figure out which ones were 3rd round picks yourself. Take those drafts starting with the 3rd round to UDFA and they are comparable to this past draft.
What kind of Earth shattering moves are being made exactly? Carlos Hyde and Mike Glennon being released? Man, I can't believe the Texans got left behind again, and this time before free agency even started. So much for having the fourth most cap...
I would say the Bennett move is a pretty big move. The Vernon for Zietler trade was a big one. Would Gilbert look better at RT than Lamm did last year for a 6th round pick? The Rams signing Weddle, a pretty big, underrated move. Etc... The Texans org.... Crickets
I’m only 99% joking, but it’s almost like Kraft gives premium memberships to his secret hobby as compensation for on-field help. Refs, GMs, practice field security, football air pumpers, etc
I was just pointing out other teams are making moves and the Texans aren't. Add Hyde to the list of moves made that could've helped the Texans fill a need before the FA, Draft periods begin.
