These are the type of games the media tries to bury when they try to force Paul George for MVP. Harden or Giannis at their worst are not even close to how trash PG was tonight
Pretty much a perfect night for the Rockets. Utah loses which at least eliminates them from competing in this 3-5 race for now. OKC loses so that gives us a good game cushion... and Denver loses, unlikely we catch them but hey...if they go on a little losing streak then sure.
Thunder fans were talking shyt to rockets fans when cp3 and harden both fouled out in LA, now look, Westbrook and PG both foul out.
Denver’s got a lot of road games left and they aren’t strong away from home. Also, starting 3/24, they finish with 9 of their last 11 against teams that will be in the playoffs. This includes a brutal back-to-back on March 28th/29th when they play at Houston and at OKC. It will be tough, but if Rockets can keep chipping away and beat Denver at the end of the month, they have a good shot of passing Denver in April.
On the Bill Simmons podcast, KOC hinted Paul George may have a rotator cuff injury and he's trying to play through it. This may be big concern for OKC during this last stretch before the playoffs.
