Not to mention Henderson is on a one year deal. They don't have full confidence in him being a long term solution...yet.
74 mil (still think we should drop Griffin and miller for 12 more) that makes 86. Leave 16 for draft (is that enough?) and we are at 70 Bell -15 Brown - 15 Badger/Collins - 11 Darby - 12 That is 53... Leaving us with 17 to sign a DT (even if its one of our own), Maybe Ju'wan James, or Tyrell Williams/John Brown (although I think we use draft for WR) If we keep Miller and don't get Bell then we have an extra 9 to throw around. Crazy that we have this much money and the "word" is we wont use it. Why not? We still have plenty more for draft and such... Am I doing this wrong? Does guaranteed come out of this years salary? If so, just grab any 2 of my first 4/5 and I'll be happy.
This would be awesome. Definitely make us SB contenders for sure. But based on everything the front office has said and done, I just don't see this happening.
I agree with you in the past, however, to be fair, since Gaine has gotten here: Needed Oline help, brought in 3 new players (granted they didnt all work out, but he tried) Needed secondary help, brought in Honey Badger and Aaron Colvin (trying) Fuller and Coutee went down, traded for Thomas to help us stay afloat. All while also giving us a pretty strong draft class even though he didnt have any picks in the first 2 rounds. Not saying he is perfect, but this is a different FO in my opinion, and it appears they are at least willing to try...
