Considering what this board thinks about Danuel House, once we sign him I expect to finish 18-0. What is this 11-7 business

With playing the Warriors, the way I see it:

Do I want to play the Warriors after CP3 has attempted to play 1 round of basketball (4+ injury attempts) or after he has attempted to play 2 rounds of basketball (8+ injury attempts)?

I like the idea of having 1 semi-difficult round to warm up before facing the Warriors. We can take care of anyone else in the Finals even if we're a bit tired. There's rest before the Finals.

Yeah, the 2nd seed would be HUGE. If you're the 3rd seed(assuming Denver is 2nd), you're facing either Portland, Utah, or OKC in Round 1. If you're the 2nd seed, you're facing San Antonio, LA Clippers, or Sactown.

Yes, I know last year the Rockets beat the Jazz in 5 and OKC and Portland both flamed out in the first round, but there's no way we wouldn't have an easier time with the latter set of potential opponents than the former.

Clippers always give us fits... Montrez Harrell owns us.

Do not want to meet the Spurs in the 1st round. Rather play the OKC than the Spurs if you ask me. So that’s the only thing to me separates 2 and 3. Otherwise, whatever. We will best Denver even without home court.

I'd rather deal with Harrell than Nurkic, Adams, or Favors and Gobert.

Aside from Kings and Denver, Portland is the best matchup and they are the most likely matchup for 3rd seed. (Utah has easiest schedule by far)

I’d rather rest players than worry about getting 2nd seed. For instance, if we have to win the last game of year against OKC to get 2nd seed, while OKC is playing everyone in a fight for 4th, then I’d rather just throw the game and rest everyone, that’s how little the 2nd seed means to me, aside from what I put in last bullet point of previous post...ie helps Harden’s MVP, and means we got on a roll.

    1. We have no idea who will end up being the 6th and 7th seed. Last year, the difference between the 4th seed and the 8th seed was literally one game. A one seed difference doesn't make a significant difference in terms of difficulty, at least not in the Western conference.
    2. Psychologically this team is mature enough not to care about 2nd vs 3rd seed. We've been to the WCF twice in the Harden era. Harden himself said we just need to be healthy yesterday. It might matter to a young team, but this is full of vets.
    3. Agreed.

Denver has a great record season because they've had a relatively healthy roster and have a solid home court altitude advantage. Their roster is pretty deep so they can run you off the court in the regular season. It shows when they play on the road and have lost many games compared to at home.

I disagree, capela dominated alll those other guys. Harrell actually has the ability to switch onto Paul and Harden, while non of the other guys even have a chance.

Nuggets are the most injured team this season by games missed.

Denver has been one of the most injured teams all year.

I feel like this is the 2nd time, I've noted that you say "in the skies" over "in disguise".

If anything, you're most definitely pretty fu**in consistent Sammy.

Healthy relative to us, perhaps, but as a Paul Millsap/Gary Harris fantasy owner I can tell you they haven't had above-average health.

Will Barton - 39 missed games
    Gary Harris - 25
    Paul Millsap - 11
    Jamal Murray - 6

That's four of their top 5 guys (based on minutes per game and points per game) missing multiple weeks, on top of how irrelevant their Isaiah Thomas signing has been due to his health.

I do certainly agree that their depth is a reason for regular season excellence that won't carry over to the postseason.

I assume that's counting isaiah thomas missing the first 55 games. Who cares? he's barely a rotation player
