Well said and I fully agree. From talking to many Trump supporters I've heard from a few of them that they know that Trump is a liar and corrupt but will still support him because the other side to them is evil. They've gone so far down supporting to Trump that it's part of their identity now and any backing down will call into question their whole world view. This the type of belief system that marks a cult. For a person like Trump though this is the type of behavior that allows grifters to succeed.
Nah, it was funny to me and I’m not a idiot who thinks everyone is racist lol. I also don’t think everyone who doesn’t agree with me is racist and hates Mexicans, either.
Why indeed, Judo? Not only Democrats were on board with that deal. So were enough Republicans to get it passed. The GOP members (along with Democrats) were assured by the White House that he was going to sign it. It was a lie. There have been so many lies now that it's difficult to keep track. GOP congressional leadership (along with everyone else) were shocked, blindsided. Golly. If trump had done what he said he would do, and then didn't, there would have been vastly more funding for his "wall," and we wouldn't be having this made up "crisis" about the Mexican border. Both sides could have declared "victory" (often called by a name rarely used now - bipartisanship), and the conversation might have moved on to something that's actually important. Something like infrastructure.
Stewart was definitely light years better then anybody else who does political comedy in America, still Trevor Noah cracks me up sometimes too, Oliver’s better though, Colbert sucks IMO.

The overwhelming majority of immigrants come from countries with which Americans have no recourse. Their countries are too dirty, too poor, too violent, too corrupt, too childlike, etc, for Americans to immigrate to.
We should feel sorry for ourselves for slipping out of a vagina in the borders of a first world developed nation.
