James Harden Full Highlights 2019.03.05 Rockets vs Raptors - 35 Pts, 3 Assists, 3 Steals!

He should have had 50 if half the calls went in his favor.

 

If the Rockets can (unlikely) make up 3 wins against the Bucks and beat them in that final game, Harden will have effectively taken away Giannis’ best argument for MVP. Only 5 more wins than the depleted Rockets while playing in the East won’t cut it at all.

 

TNT needs to stop with the players doing the commentary... what stuck out in that video wasn’t the Harden tear drop or even penetration.... what stood out was out badly I wanted to slap Chris Webber and strangle Isaiah Thomas and his annoying voice.

 

That tear drop is working.

Now what if you are the defending big???

 

I thought we were supposed to fine commentators that criticized the refs. That first basket was clearly not a travel.

 

I didn't think Harden played his best game…. then saw the box score and he still had 35.

Cant complain about 35 on what appeared to be an off night ….

 

Anybody have highlights with Craig and Bullard. Players Only is beyond awful.

 

Chris webber wasn't calling the game, he was back in the studio I think you were talking about "3D" Dennis Scott, Chris Webber is actually a good commentator and Grant Hill is great on the NCAA broadcasts so not sure why he is so awful on Players Only.

 

Harden's layups and drives were just amazing. He hit a tremendously difficult stepback over Siakim's long arms too. The last two floaters were unguarded, since the Raptors had lost heart, but some of them were really nicely executed against good defense. I really liked the right hand layup in the first half too. It's hard to score 40 plus against a top defensive team like the Raptors. They didn't give open looks to Gordon too. If Shumpert can give some extra defense along with Faried's energy we will be better off. I still believe that Morey should strike a deal with House, to improve our defense and rebounding. No further buyout guys are likely to be available. Jeff Green and Ariza would be really valuable right now...

 

I give props to Dennis Scott for praising Harden's game. He was objective.
