This is how important an OL is. Hopkins/T.Y are close because the secondary sucks. TE Colts OL is better than the Texans DL > Colts DL is better than the Texans OL. Texans CB's were pathetic, Colts secondary was > Texans secondary Colts LB's better than Texans LB's, Leonard is a stud. Tell me a LB the Texans have that can blitz and cover. Vynceint Smith was the Texans WR 2 for gods sake. Last but not least Luck played better than DW4.
lol at this insiders ok... with 80 million cap space (how is it even possible to be quiet)??? there going to let the Colts get better, while they sit on their butts and do nothing.. yea not buying it one bit
All valid excuses. But you can coach around it. The Texans were outplayed AND outcoached. As injured and old as Joseph was, he was still better than the Colt's top CB. And your boy, Gaine's, big FA acquisition was healthy. Just saying. I still agree that their secondary was more talented but it is not by a huge margin. The guys behind TY Hilton are NOT good either. Leonard is a stud, who's behind/beside him though. The combination of McKinney, Cunningham, and Cole is pretty stout too. Again even if you give the edge to the Colts, it's not by a huge margin. Outplayed and outcoached.
If you think by the end of the year Joseph was better than Desir then we are never going to agree. Are you saying RAC did a terrible job? It's too bad Colvin got hurt. I hope Gaine adds two or three young CB's in the draft/FA so they dont get caught shorthanded again.
Wade is out here trying to get 5% or something, everywhere he goes he's gushing about Trent Brown. Coming from the perspective of an offensive lineman, his opinion holds a lot of weight so i hope the Texans can get it done. If I'm in charge I would offer him a contract similar if not identical to what Taylor Lewan got
Taylor Lewan? I was thinking something like Donovan Smith just got. I'm way off. But if we get Trent Brown then we only need to draft one LT and we can get two CBs which I wish would happen
