I heard about his stroke a few days ago...I want to say Friday. The early reports were conflicting between induced coma and brain dead. Sad situation anytime someone passes suddenly and unexpectedly.
Crazy and hard to believe. And, seemed to happen on same day they announced a new 90210 with original cast minus him and Shannon Doherty. Very sad. RIP
Diabetics like Luther Vandross and Patrice O' Neal who are probably lax on their maintenance or food intake get them from time to time, I don't know what other factors besides high blood pressure could predict it.
It's very possible. My father had his first stroke when he was 50. He had his second stroke when he was 55. He recovered from both and is now 88 years old. Many times, but not always, there are warning signs that precede a major stroke. It's important to be aware of those warning signs and to understand that strokes can happen to people of all ages.
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/stroke/symptoms-causes/syc-20350113 Risk factors Many factors can increase your stroke risk. Potentially treatable stroke risk factors include: Lifestyle risk factors Being overweight or obese Physical inactivity Heavy or binge drinking Use of illicit drugs such as cocaine and methamphetamines Medical risk factors Blood pressure readings higher than 120/80 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) Cigarette smoking or exposure to secondhand smoke High cholesterol Diabetes Obstructive sleep apnea Cardiovascular disease, including heart failure, heart defects, heart infection or abnormal heart rhythm Personal or family history of stroke, heart attack or transient ischemic attack. Other factors associated with a higher risk of stroke include: Age —People age 55 or older have a higher risk of stroke than do younger people. Race — African-Americans have a higher risk of stroke than do people of other races. Sex — Men have a higher risk of stroke than women. Women are usually older when they have strokes, and they're more likely to die of strokes than are men. Hormones — use of birth control pills or hormone therapies that include estrogen, as well as increased estrogen levels from pregnancy and childbirth.
My friend had a massive stroke at 37 and died about a year later. He was a diabetic for years but not doing anything about it.
When I walked past Beverly Hills Highschool I was expecting more. Don't know what's on the inside, but wanted more. Rodeo Drive was pretty sweet.
1. RIP 2. Ditto in the “how” and responses. I get that **** happens but seems young for a massive stroke but noted on the warnings signs. Sadly now closer to 52 than 22... 3. He has a son who is a professional wrestler named Jungle Boy?!? Who knew.
