    David Weiner already did the number. Wait till 2/21 to sign some buyout guy. And sign House on last day of the season. This all hope Capela doesn't get his bonus.

    • February 15-17 -- NBA All-Star Weekend 2019 in Charlotte, North Carolina
    • March 1 -- Playoff eligibility waiver deadline
    • April 10 -- Regular season ends
    • April 12 -- Rosters set for 2019 NBA playoffs (12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET)
    • April 13 -- NBA playoffs begin
    • April 21 -- NBA early entry eligibility deadline (8:59 p.m. PT/11:59 p.m. ET)
    • April 29-30 -- Conference semifinals begin
    • May 14 -- 2019 NBA draft lottery
    • May 14-15 -- Conference finals begin
    • May 14-19 -- 2019 NBA draft combine
    • May 30 -- 2019 NBA Finals begin
    • June 10 -- NBA draft early entry entrant withdrawal deadline (2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET)

    No. Must convert before season end.
    I guess we can sign someone now if we don't plan to sign any 10 days contract.
    Problem is ... there is no good candidate.

    I don't know how the bonus thing work. He get 1M bonus if we reach WCF. Does that count against the cap?

    If the Nuggets issue w/ Bzdelik was why they cut Melo, then the Rockets sabatoged themselves trying to settle petty scores. People don't realize our current team is among the worst at defensive rebounding. Melo is a solid rebounder. We could USE a 6'8 wing that can help us rebound right now, especially giving the minutes PJ's playing. Doing Melo dirty, I believe is why key buyout targets aren'tt coming here

    The idea that we are going to sign House right before the playoffs and that will somehow be good for us is crazy . I guess it's better than not signing him at all ... but he won't have played in NBA action for like 4 months .

    That's assume we can sign a buyout candidate. If we can't get one by 2/21, we will have to convert him and a 10-day contract. Apparently 2/21 is the deadline we need to get 14 players on the roster.
