Nice win on the road but the real test will be against Toronto and Philly and not this overrated team

What is the latest on Faried? Is the injury more serious than reported?

Let me start with this. James Harden is the man. He is the best player in the league and continues to make improvements every year. This is what I think his next improvement needs to be: super late game execution. IMO he has a habit of bleeding too much shot clock on possessions like 3 minutes or under, to the point where the hard double comes and we don't get a good shot. I have noticed that he is much quicker in his decision making at different points of the game, and I want that to translate to super late game situations. Do you think this is something he would agree with? We know if he wants to improve, he will improve. Or am I not looking at it the right way? Is he intentionally milking clock when we have leads? @Mathloom it's been awhile....

Like I said James Harden is the best player in the NBA.

Everybody who said KD was the best player in the Dish needs to get b****slapped.

How many Turnovers did Paul have at the beginning of the 4th?

The D was phenomenal today. One of the better performances of the season IMO.

Loved the team D in this game. Total focus from the jump on locking down, helping, and taking the ball. We took the Celtics out of their game until well into the 3rd quarter. Nice rebounding, too. It's hard to sustain this for 48 minutes, as we saw early in the 4th. But we stayed focused long enough to build a lead that could withstand a run.

Shout-outs to Gordon, CP, and Tucker. One reason I dread giving up Gordon and Tucker in trades is that those two guys play solid, versatile defense the whole time they're on the floor, which we tend to overlook while we b**** about whether their shots are falling. Losing their 68 minutes of D would hurt. A lot.

He wanted to have a go against the Celtics, so I think he might be well enough soon.

You can't just pick out one time and say that's the norm. Paul has the best Assist to Turnover ratio in NBA history by a point guard. I would rather the ball be in his hands at the end of the game when we are up a lot.

Harden has proven numerous times this year he has some bad selections when we are up big and they start coming back. He wants to go for the dagger too many times from 3.

And harden has the best per, bpm, vorp, and offensive bpm etc

Considering all the injuries and an old / injury prone 2nd max player

I think your missing the point. I’m not saying for the whole game or anything like that. I’m specifically talking about later in the 4th when we have a lead and Harden goes on one of those I’m just gonna shoot a bunch of back threes and we let teams back in it.

I think sometimes Harden has to be reeled in a bit and slowed down. That’s where Paul comes in.

Did you watch Paul? He single handedly let the Celtics back in it with a atrocious start to the fourth quarter on both ends of the floor

Harden successfully makes his 4th quarter shots and plays most of the time

pretty sure there are stats which prove that. I bet he still one of the top the league in PER, Offensive Rating, PPP, and BPM. At least within team.
