Look, it’s all about perception and situation. I’m not arguing against you. I’ve bought into our style but I’m not blind to the fact that when we go cold for three it’s killed us and it’s let teams back in games.

Percentages and efficiency are two different things, obviously....and when up big a higher perecentage shot would make more sense when you’re struggling from threee hence a mid range shot, floater....

it sounds ridiculous and not what the refs intended but thats pretty close to what actually happened...i was relieved when harden was thrown out...in that moment i knew we will win...sometimes he just doesnt have it at the end of games...hes an easy target for a missed call, missed assignment, turnover and offensive foul... he wont move his feet and make himself available for an easy pass... the best example was last years celtics game

its like a 3 point shot when youre up by 20 with 3 minutes to go.. you just dont need it anymore and it can even be counterproductive if the opponents bait you into it... just milk the clock

Just reading dudes like McIntyre makes my head explode...this dude was saying so many clueless things about Harden a couple of months ago...if the word clueless would be a person, it would be Jason McIntyre. A random fan or analyst of another sport would be less clueless than him.

I actually agree with you. I enjoy that we have a new go to play but we need to keep playing like we do in my opinion. If we are starting to go 0-27 again then I believe a floater is a nice shot to try to break that spell. There is no need for argument against one way or the other as you said it all in perception and situations.

man when the legs are tired the same percentages doesnt work anymore...youre not thinking efficiently right now

2 is more than 0(plus long rebounds that equal easy fastbreak points for the opposition)

Whic assignment did he miss.? His defense tonight was pretty good. I’m very curious which play are you referring to in the fourth. As for his offense he was the only real offensive player who could score after Eric went cold in the fourth and Chris was busy turning it over and playing sloppy. You are throwing crap against the wall and hoping it sticks.

I can’t believe someone who watched tonight’s game without an obvious “ agenda “ would be dribbling this nonsense. Notice no one agrees with you?

Actually harden was driving the ball continuesly in the fourth. He made a couple of tough layups, he missed a couple where he was fouled and got to the line a couple of other times. I’m astounded with these conclusions of the same game I watched you are making. You are just plain hater. As I said before you are throwing crap against the wall and hoping it sticks.

Yeah but tired legs affect the mid range shot also. Our 3's are attempted so often it is more like muscle memory from practicing so much.

I would attribute it to the bad D more than anything else. When you are 22nd in defense, you are gonna lose alot of leads no matter what...but then again what you are saying makes sense, it is harder for them to get back after a missed three, I think however, our rebounding problem is a much much MUCH bigger issue.

What I love about the way Harden plays is that it doesn't seem otherworldly like Giannis and his freak athleticism. Harden has spent years honing his game, adding new elements every summer, developing moves that others will later attempt to copy.

When Skip who has bashed Harden for years gives a compliment you know James is doing something right.

Sure, and I'm always happier after a win where everyone ate versus Harden putting up 31 shots. To go where the Rockets want to go, the offense has to be more balanced. Gordon's gotta stay at a consistent high level. Chris Paul has got to put up more shots and shoot them efficiently. Capela and Faried have to get more involved.

i have honesty never seen a players footwork put under my microscope nightly like James harden.

Giannis travels more than harden yet I never see slow mo’s of him dragging his pivot foot in the paint EVERY night.

    The hate is real.

Indeed, he is so unique. He is the role model for not being a 3 D player like Klay Thompson. Klay could never carry any team, despite being a better defender than Harden. Harden has improved on defense too. He is no longer just an offensive player.
I'm stunned that Bayless would speak so glowingly about Harden. I do appreciate it, but I seriously doubt if he will continue to praise him or the Houston Rockets for much longer.

Lol it's not and stop it. There is difference between coaching or pulling and rooting. In every single game where hubie was commentating for rockets not a single time he rooted or "coached" for the rockets when they were down. Look at the replay or the highlights of tonight's game and see how his tone changes when the rockets score and it was so blatant, plus he wasn't like coaching or giving tips for the losing team because he was rooting for them.

Got to watch the game with my mom today. She lives in Colorado, so we don't get to see games together very often. She is the reason I love basketball so much. Great win!

you may be onto something with muscle memory

for me personally tired legs dont affect my midrange as much as my 3
