Wouldn't mind seeing CP3/Rivers/Gordon bring up the ball, only to dump it to Harden after crossing the halfcourt line. It's not like we run that many set plays anyway.

Shumpert is comparable to knight, shooting like 20%. No defense, waste 2picks.

 

Watching the Worriers versus our upcoming game against Philty. First, the Sixers getting Tobias Harris was just criminal. Sevond, we will need Faried in the starting lineup against them cause even without Embiid, they look big.

 

That was certainly the #1 reason we traded for Shumpert. If he helped us on the court that would be nice, but he's served his purpose regardless.

 

Dig deeper part of the reason he(harden) takes it up the court is because it's harder for the d to deny him the ball. Its alot of method to the madness in James game that a lot of people don't see. Harden isn't good at fighting to get the ball. We all see that. So he supplements that by getting it at the inbound

 

Remember when people were excited for Iman Shumpert of all people lmao what a joke. Even when he’s healthy he can’t stay on the court because he’s such a huge negative offensively.

Luxury tax savings.

 

It's all about getting the player at his peak value performancewise and obviously Shumpert isn't at his best.

Rivers and Faried played to their potential and exceeded expectations IMHO.

 

Morey’s 2018-2019 has been....well....not his best...

Are you sure? Faried, Cp3 and Rivers are a joke to you or what?

People like to dump on Morey but the team this year is better than last year and thats an achievement considering they were already pretty good last year.

What makes you think this team is better than the 65 win team from last year? While Harden may be a better player this year than last, overall, I don't think there's any evidence that proves your claim.

 

He still has a hard time getting the ball when they deny him full court too. But, even worse, when denied full court he pushes off his defender out of frustration because they are playing him hard. He then will get a foul or a tech and take a few possessions off because he is frustrated.

He also doesn't aggressively pursue the ball, so it leads to forced in bound passes. It seems to throw our whole offensive possession off more. It's one of the things that's very frustrating about Harden.

 

I wonder what our record is in day games? I hope our guys have their body clocks in sync. This is in Boston and I'll be very surprised if it isn't a war, regardless of how the Celtics have been playing.

Boston is a great city that I enjoy visiting, but I hate the Celtics, our nemesis when we were close to a title in the '80's. They stopped us in the Finals when we had Moses, and a few years later when the young Twin Towers had their one incredible season. I'm always up for payback. Never forget!

The Rockets need to keep winning. Everyone on the Team that can drag themselves onto the court has to get on their feet and kick Boston's butt. Keep the streak alive!
