People thinking Giannis having a sub par game in a win is going to elevate Harden are mistaken. The W will live on while Giannis' numbers will be forgotten by Monday.
giannis' gravity opened up all the shots for the others and his leadership made the ball go in. mvp on and off the court. harden would have chucked stepback 3's while freezing out his teammates and lost the game.
Yep. they'll just flip the reasoning on their narrative as to why Greek deserves it. One day it's "well lets see what he does on national TV vs. LA" and then if he's sub par on that given game it's "well he is the best player on the team with the best record". Done. Whether we like it or not the media is in control and ultimately it'll probably take an extra-ordinary historic finish for Harden and even then the best player on the best record is their fall back....
So true. Unfortunately the "team" in Championship sometimes includes the officials. I think GSW had one or two extra "team" players last year.
Wow, I just saw the Bulls Hawks score. 168 to 161 and 4 overtimes. You'd think those guys were playing for a playoff spot. I'm just glad none of our competitors are facing those teams tonight, because they are bound to have some tired legs after that long game.
