Trump is a lover not a fighter.

You are correct: as in almost all cases, Trump doing nothing is absolutely better than Trump doing anything.

There was no war with North Korea, and for that he deserves the peace prize

Trump walked away from a bad deal. Do any of you know how negotiations work?

In fairness, no deal is better than a bad deal... and perhaps we will benefit from a more honest presentation on goal-setting and progress in the future.

I don't fault Trump for not making a deal and think it was the right thing to do to walk away if there wasn't something substantive there. I also support Trump meeting with Kim Jong Un and don't even fault him for flattering Kim. What I think is inexcusable is defending Kim and his regime regarding the death of an American. It is one thing to be nice and friendly to someone who is running a ruthless and murderous regime to try to advance negotiations but to defend them when an American citizen has died at the hands of that regime that is shameful.

This is too often a pattern that we've seen from this President. His willingness to publicly defend murderous autocrats whether it's Putin, MBS, or now Kim Jong Un. He's shown he's willing to throw US intelligence services and now even US lives under the bus.

It is so sad to see Democrats and even some of the liberal variety be against peace w. North Korea. These same folks often claim to want more spending on health, education and welfare. You can't wast trillions being the police man of the world and also have nice things. 9/10 SOUTH Koreans want a deal and thousands of N. Korean kids are starving due to our sanctions. Koreans count too -- not just our Pentagon experts or guys like Bezos/ Washington Post/CIA types who always want more guns and war.

Trump could take a massive dump on your car and you’d find a way to spin it as a positive. Good lord.

It's not that they don't want peace with North Korea. It's that they want Trump to fail. Of course that will never be admitted, but it's very obvious.

It breaks my heart that the only two choices are "more guns and war" or being uncritical of Trump's haphazard diplomatic efforts and fruitless pr stunts. I am overwhelmed with grief as I read your countless examples of high-profile Dems yearning to take up arms and invade North Korea. Just look at this bloodthirsty psychopath's suggestion...
