The goal is impeachment, not removal. The investigation that follows will lay bare all of Trump's skeletons and basically take a big fat dump all over the R ticket for the next few election cycles.

I mean Cohen is so shady only a degenerate of the highest order would ever hire him for anything. I mean you would have to be one corrupt SOB or organization to use him as a lawyer or put him in charge of your groups finances. Amiright.

 

Well, a guy who admitted lying to Congress was a Fox News employee for 15 years and last year was elected the President of the NRA, and Republicans were/are a-ok with him, so I'm sure they'll start treating Cohen the same any day now.

It took all of 4 years of Jimmy Carter for the Republicans to take back the White House and hold it for 12 years after Gerald Ford served out Nixon's last term.

Our government is setup to prevent either party from getting much done. Which causes us to bounce back and forth on which party controls the different branches. People claim to hate that but if we started having radical change in either direction this country would go nuts. In 8 years what major legislation did Obama pass? Obamacare and basically nothing. Meanwhile, he was the devil to republicans. Trump got one thing done... he got his tax cut and undid some of Obamacare. What did Bush jr get done in 8 years? Tax cuts and some wars that were supported by both parties.

Meanwhile, presidential candidates are going to promise the moon for the next 2 years even though they will be lucky if they pass 2 major pieces of legislation in 8 years.

 

It isn’t about removing him from office. He isn’t going to be removed, logistically it isn’t feasible. It is already 2019 and the composition of the senate isn’t changing.

 

And here we are almost 45 years later and the turd stain Nixon left hasn't washed off.

Just because you win an election doesn't mean the damage isn't done or you couldn't have done better.

 

Read between the lines of McCabe's book and he spells out exactly how the FBI, Mueller, and/or the SDNY will ultimately bring down the dotard's reign of error.
